Khan did look a bit tubby, and was blowing early.
I guess that's what happens if you sack your fitness trainer cause he's working you too hard.

Roach sounds really bad now.

That was a shitty stoppage. Shame for everyone involved.
McKloskey in a weird way benefits more than Khan, as now he can say he was definitely going to knock Amir out and that it doesn't count as a loss.
The Khan critics will be able to say he was clearly awful and tiring and although he won every round he was not going to win any more.
So in a way everybody is happy, Khan wins, Mckloskey has an excuse, the haters got a reason to hate.
Primetime tv are probably fucked though, this won't have helped them much at all.
Shit ending... pointless fight for Khan in the first place.
Spot on. Totally agree.
Paul gave a decent account for himself and I hope he can use this as a positive launchpad. I don't really understand why the likes of Robin Reid & Steve Collins are talking about a rematch though.. Paul was loosing a loosing battle if you know what I mean. He got out at the right time IMO... Left the right flavour in most peoples mouths.

My first time seeing Mckloskey fight, I was impressed with his attitude. From the opening bell he looked very comfortable in there and had no intimidation whatsoever. It seemed to me that Khan wasn't going to be able to hurt him, and Mckloskey wasn't going to be able to cope with Amir's speed.
I expect the fight would have ended similarly to the Kotelnik fight with Khan boxing to a comfortable winning lead, then easing off over the last couple rounds to make sure he didn't get caught.
117-111 116-112 117-111 kind of fight.
A workmanlike win for Khan but no risks necessary so win easy and get the big fight in the summer.
Mcloskey won't get a rematch, and losing every round did nothing to suggest why he has earnt one. But he no trouble in hanging with Khan and was never hurt or bothered in there so his stock will rise and he will doubtless get another opportunity off the back of it.
For McKloskey this result is actually better than losing a decision. Any future fight will be advertised by focusing on the unfair stoppage, the intangibles and the question as to whether he would have caught up with Amir. From a promotional point of view, he's still an unbeaten fighter so not a bad night for him, even though i'm sure he doesn't see it that way himself.
Didnt see the fight but sounds like the Barrera fight. Khan headbutts his way to a stoppage and a hometwon decision.
Lets hope Bradley gives him a taste of his own medicine in his next fight.
Total bullshit stoppage. No way Khan was keeping up the pace with that pitter patter square on shit for the rest of the fight. Khan was also chatting some absolute shit at the end. Boxing is turning seriously soft.
Erik Morales will be laughing at this shit right now.
Gotta add, just watched the fight again, Khans brother is one classless individual throwin his hands in the air infront of McCloskey when Hearn is arguing the decision.
