Really entertaining fight, despite a terrible referee.
It didn't seem that anybody in the Berto camp had a plan of how to go about fighting this guy. He was able to counter, sometimes, the real blatant mistakes Ortiz made, but Berto is neither smart enough nor slick enough to create or exploit openings that aren't telegraphed. It was there for him all night, to take a short pivot to his right and drop the right hand, but Berto bails out right foot first and doesn't know how to fight going that way.
Ortiz is the Truest Sign Of The Apocalypse I'm aware of: a right handed fighter turned southpaw. He constantly throws that left hand from too far away, then steps forward with his left foot leaving himself wide open. A good fighter would kill him for that. Also, he needs to improve his left hand, or tattoo "VICTIM" on his chest before thinking about fighting anybody that can fight. His feet are so far apart that he pushes that punch; its an invitation to left hook him silly.
Good, hard fought club fight, fun to watch. World championship level? No freaking way. Any aspiring fighters that watched this, don't do anything that you saw tonight.
