So you either expect him to immediately rematch McCloskey who he just shutout and who offered absolutely nothing in the fight, purely because it was stopped prematurely or fight Maidana who he just recently beat, rather than go on to a unification fight with Bradley? I don't particularly like Khan but come on man, he's taking good fights. At least wait for him to announce his next opponent before you jump all over him, if it's not Bradley and its some soft touch then criticise him by all means.

I appear to be in the minority on here but I think Bradley will beat Khan.

Ok lets get this into some sort of perspective

Khan ran all night against Kotelnik.....Khan looked like a scared rabbit caught in on coming traffic

Malignaggi was the weakest of the weak and Malignaggi already proven he is cannon fodder at the weight

Maidana overrated big time after struggling with a life and death match against old Morales

McCloskey got robbed going the distance and making Khan look clueless...I wouldn't be surprised the ref and doctor got paid off and tiold to stop the fight the first possible sign of a cut!!!!

Job Biscuit (not a very good track record and I do believe the Khan clan think they are bigger than the WBA)!!!

eh eh!!!
So McCloskey got robbed of losing a 12 round shutout is what you're saying? He'd done absolutely nothing up until that point to suggest he'd even take a round in the remaining 6. I agree that the stoppage was premature and the cut wasn't bad at all, but its hardly helped Khan. It's cheapened the win somewhat because people are focusing on a poor stoppage and people can claim that McCloskey would have staged a miraculous comeback. I feel for McCloskey losing the fight that way, the cut wasn't bad and he definitely could have continued, but the fight stopping that way hasn't done Khan any favours so I don't see how anyone can think Khan and his team would have wanted the fight to end that way.

As for the rest of them, regardless of the performances he's still fought good opposition since he went to 140. Your original post was criticising his opposition and saying he won't fight anyone of note, I was just pointing out that he's fought some good fighters since he moved up and all the indications are that he's going to have a unification fight with Bradley in the summer. If you want to criticise him for taking soft touches, at least wait until he takes one over a fight with Bradley rather than saying it when he's fought good fighters at this weight and looks set to move onto arguably the best at 140

Regardless of success...he showed no class against Malignaggi & McClosky and winged it against Maidana......and Maidana has been proven he isn't really a force and Khan nearly got stopped by him....I wish you SHIT HAWKS would stop defending him and wake up and smell the roses....KHAN is a FRAUD and hes been very VERY LUCKY that he had enough legs to see out the fight with Maidana....Kahn should take up running the 100 metres cause thats all hes good for.....I want to watch boxing not a runner

OK I agree with the bit in bold. He didn't looked impressive against McCloskey before the stoppage, I didn't think he looked great against Malignaggi and he was hanging on for dear life against Maidana. He showed nice resilience to get through to the end but it wasn't as comfortable as it probably should have been given how crude Maidana is and how he should have been able to outbox comfortably, rather than fading and end up hanging on for a close win

I was just defending his opponents at 140, not so much the performances themselves. For the record, I'm not a fan of Khan, and I didn't ever expect to defend him for anything. Frankly, I hope Bradley beats him and I think he will, I just don't agree that his choice of opponents at 140 haven't been up to scratch, and if he does fight Bradley next then I don't think any criticisms can be made their either.

And what the f*ck is a job biscuit?
