The thing is one minute you're mixing with celebs and earning millions for a nights work your the hot topic creating lots of press inches... your promotion company is trading off your success and all is good in the world.

Boxing fans are a fickle bunch and if you're not in the spotlight your soon forgotten.

would Ricky want it all again the training the big fights and the money... sure he would.

could he come back... sure i think Hatton coming back teaming up with Billy for nostalga and taking on witter or khan would still sell and he could make massive money

will he come back...... nah.... he just aint got it anymore and he knows it.. it would prob do more damage than good now.

But saying all that, I can only imagine in my wildest dreams what it must feel like to be a boxer with a massive fan base chanting your name, everything going right and earning millions for a nights work.

i would say it would be hard if not impossible for anything in life to top that or to get anywhere near that again.. so who knows he might just come back.

No chance he said he is retired and I do not expect him to box again, but if he promotes as badly as he did the Khan fight, he would be broke in no time.

Hmmm money talks and I think there would be interest in a fight with Morales. Saddo makes a good point too - Hatton like so many fighters before find when they stop fighting they can't find anything to replace it hence the drink/drug issues.

History is littered with fighters who think they have one fight left - I'm not convinced that Hatton will be one of the few who retire and stay that way. In his mind he'll be thinking I lost to the two best fighters in the world and can still handle fighters a step or two down from that.

I hope I'm wrong but I'd expect Hatton to have at least one more fight before he calls it a day completley.

    Hatton vs Witter? No thanks.

Khan vs Hatton would be a silly move. Sure it would make a shit load of money but Hatton would find himself on his back yet again.

    Stay retired.

It is amazing to be that popular I have to admit. Thankfully, I am still as popular as ever, so I don't have to deal with the come down
