I just wonder how long mosley and his team are going to continue milking that win over Margarito.

Said it once I'll say it a million times. Mosley has had one good outing in the last 7 years now.

They are starting to milk it. Agree with you there.

But seriously, dominating Lou Collazo and knocking out a huge Fernando Vargas were not good outings
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"

Yeah they were good outings for sure. Obviously beating Margarito was much more of an upset so it has that extra luster to it.

To answer the question. Yes. Fuckin Ortiz was insanely fired up in that fight.

I would have personally much rather seen Manny be the first to pop Berto's cherry then fight Mosley, but now that Ortiz has already done it, Pacquiao-Mosley makes a whole lot more sense.

Pacquiao-Mosley will make a ton of money, that's the reason Arum made the fight, Pacquiao-Berto wouldn't have made half as much, it was strictly a business decision.

Callazo fought most the fight with one hand and Vargas was a long way past his best and probably in no kind of shape.

But if those two were great wins how come no one ever mentions them? it's always margarito, margarito, margarito.

I was hoping Berto got the fight instead of Mosley. Just because he's young and his future could have been bright with a win. But seeing that fight, Pacman would have finish him early. And thinking about it, when the Mosley vs Berto fight was made, I can't see Mosley losing against Berto.

After Mosley beat Pacman, I wonder how would an Ortiz vs Mosley fight look?

At this stage of his career, I don't see Mosley beating Pacman, and just guessing i'd say Mosley retires after the fight with Pacquiao. (if not he should)

Of course he was. The fact is Berto was a HIGHLY touted undefeated fighter in his "prime". And if he would have lost to Manny, the loss would have been percieved in a different light.

Since Ortiz was an underdog, Berto's loss is labelled moreso in the "he wasn't as good as we thought he was" catagory.

If Manny whipped him, it would have been another "wow look how great Manny is" and would have added a lot of his legacy IMO.

Beating Mosley does little for his legacy at this point.
