I expect some more "negotiations" between Pac-Mayweather, then after that's done i'm not sure. I could see Pac-Berto though.
If it's not Floyd, the only fight that would mean something from a legancy perspective would be a suicide mission against Sergio Martinez.

He'll fight Marquez the rumblings are already out there.
Supposedly Top Rank sent over a offer for Pac-JMM for October. Sent the offer to GB because they still have the right to match any offer for JMM.

I don't believe Pacquiao-Juan Marquez is a good match-up since they already belong to different weight categories. JMM has to fight someone notable in the 140 lb division to be considered.
Mayweather is the ultimate dream opponent but if that is not possible I would rather have Manny face Victor Ortiz. If Manny is feeling invincible he can try Sergio Martinez for the legacy.
Charlie Zelenoff, Kid THunder, maybe ICB.
Agree Agree Agree...
Even just taking this fight, regardless of what happened in the ring, will offically class his balls as ten times bigger than Mayweather could ever dream of...
Pac is a legend, and I want him to take one more legendary fight before he kicks off his retirement...
Mayweather number 1
Sergio number 2 (though my nerves would almost kill me for this fight)

If Manny fight through the 2012 year(and sweep his opponents) then retire, he can shut down the boxing scene.
It's only a handful of opponents he can fight at this point, with real meaning.
1. JMM
2. Martinez
then . . .
3. Bradley
4. Ortiz
5. Alvarez
So let's just say he has 4 more fight. Starting with JMM at the end of the year.
Then Bradley in hopes he fight and defeat Khan.
By then Martinez would have fought Alvarez or Cotto. Which elimanates one of them.
Then his boy Ortiz.
I don't mind Marquez as his next opponent. They have a storied past in which Marquez has fought well against Pac.
Everyone is correct that he would be going for glory if he stepped up and fought Martinez, that's a strictly legacy fight, because its a fight he doesn't have to take and a fight that would be very risky. However, many people on the site made the point that it doesn't do much for Martinez's legacy to fight Pacquiao coming up in weight. Do people still feel that way?
Bradley would be another good fight.
Ortiz needs one or two more marquee wins before earning a Pacquiao fight.
I don't want to see him fight Cotto again plus Cotto is fighting at 154 and 160 now. If Sergio is too big for Pacquiao, so is Cotto.
He's really running out of people to fight.
