I respect humble fighters.

I really like Katsidis too, but I can't say that I have found his recent fights terribly fun to watch. The man is taking far too many punches. I really want him to step down a level and get back to at least being more competitive in his fights again. I love phonebooth fights, but it loses it's fun when it's one guy taking most of the punishment and that is what has started to happen.
Mmmmm true true - just love the mans heart and spirit....good fighter too. Perhaps a rematch with Mitchell on the cards after his fight with Murray....
No, get me wrong there. I think he is a really fan friendly fighter too. I love him as a fighter.
I just don't want to see him in there with someone too good for a career ending beating. I think he is perfect for a slight step down and an opponent that can bring on a Gatti-Ward kind of fight. That way he can bring out the best in his style and at the same time give us all our fun.
Recently and especially in that last fight, I didn't enjoy some of those rounds. Too much getting hit and not enough landing in return.
Agreed - it did get painful to watch and I do think his corner should have pulled him out as he would never quit! Guerrero impressed me as well. Going off the thread slightly - who do you think MK should fight next?
Guerrero was very impressive, I didn't know he was that good. A real career turn around with that performance. As for Kats, I'm not sure, maybe what you mentioned before. Certainly a couple of fights at least away from the main belt holders. He's great to watch but you need a couple of wins to build him up again. No hurry though.
My current fav's, a few that come to mind, in no particular order:
1. Sergio Martinez - (gotta love this guy, he comes to fight and fights the best)
2. Nonito Donaire - (the little dude can bring it, how can you not like the "Filipino Flash"?
3. Manny Pacquiao - (easily the best, most entertaining pug in boxing right now)
4. Wlad Klitschko - (what can I say, I like the fucking guy, I think he's been good for boxing, Vitali too.)
5. Miguel Cotto - (He's fun to watch, puts on a good show, and isn't afraid to fight the best)
Juan Manuel Marquez
Hozumi Hasegawa
Michael Katsidis
Miguel Cotto
Victor Ortiz
And Nathan Cleverly nearly makes it. As does Kessler. And Pascal.
