There is no need for it to be at 145lb, Pac should beat him and become the first man to stop him if possible.

Mosley got good power. But he's not knocking no one out with one punch. Margarito got beat down before he went down late in the fight. Same as Vargas. And if anyone, including Pacman believes that, that's Shane's only chance in winner, I'm going to make a lot of money on the 7th. Naz got a gameplan. And if Shane can pull the trigger, he's going to win.

    1. Shane will use his faints, thne try to jab first.
    2. Shane will go after the body like Shane of old, when Manny go against the ropes.
    3. Since Pacman don't tie up, Shane will(have to) hit Manny, when Manny step back after a clinch.

    Shane by upset

I do not think Shane will match the speed of Pac Man and punch out put. Shane will be bewildered.

On BOXREC it is listed as the WBO welterweight title.
Of course it's for whatever strap there is. But I don't think this is a catchweight fight at 145. I haven't read that or heard about it being a catchweight. If it was the boxing forums all over the internet would have exploded.

Are these test rumours true though? I have only heard this from Roger Mayweather and he isn't the most reliable of people. I really hope that they are indeed just rumours and not fact.

Leave it to the hype machine to create the illusion that this fight will be competitive...it won't. People keep saying Shane has a "punchers chance"...but Shane has not possessed one punch power since his lightweight days. Even against Margo...he wore him down throughout the fight. Sure he stunned Floyd...but it was no knockout or or even knockdown. Floyd recovered from it. Also, Shane loads up on his right after using his jab primarily as a feint. The problem is...his right is a looping right. It's not a straight right. A straight right is much more effective against Pac than looping punches (against a looping right...Pac will just dodge it and throw his hooks). But the biggest problem for Shane is that because of his age he no longer has great stamina. He gasses out after the first few rounds in his last few fights. Against a relentless fighter like Pac...he will wear down and gas out by the middle rounds. To beat Pac you have to have to be a great counter puncher with great stamina. Sure, Shane might catch and stun Pac in an exchange early on...but i highly doubt it. If Naz has trainied Shane to counter and go to the body...it might interesting. But i highly doubt that's the game plan. Another past prime fighter for Pac to look good against.
