Jones perhaps, Hopkins probably not.
We have to consider that Calzaghe was not in his prime when he fought them too. He was 36 and for a fighter who relies on output and speed and had lost his power through injuries, he was using a lot of savvy to stay competitive himself.
He was an intelligent boxer and a bit like Hopkins in that he learned to evolve. Something someone like Jones was never able to do.

It's all just opinions really. I think Calzaghe had a fair chance against both, but less so against Jones. Calzaghe would have had more power which would made Hopkins respect him a LOT more. And Calzaghe was also faster than pretty much anyone else Jones ever fought and brought a lot of pressure.
A lot of what if's in these kinds of discussions really. People tend to think the fighter they like more will win.
