Well Boxer4, you certainly have the right to your opinion, and if you're right you'll become a bit of a celebrity here at Saddo, but realistically I can't see any way that SSM, wins this fight. And if Delahoya, Cotto and Margarito couldn't stop Pacquiao, there's no way a 39 year old version of Mosley will do it, especially the way he's looked in his last 2 fights.

I think Manny would've been KO'ed by the shot that Mosley landed on Mayweather personally, so thats the only real promising aspect of this fight as a Mosley fan. I definetly can't get on board with criticizing the fight being made, Shane will still make it a battle for the first half at least imo, and does have a clear punchers chance. Noone else Pac hasnt alrea. Obviously Pac doesnt have the best style to beat Mosley, in that sense its a good matchup , he still needs to exchange and take risks to generate offence, and Mosley is still a hell of a lot better at fighting guys inside than he is trying to box. More I think about the fight the more I see a small chance for Shane I guess based on styles, but it's just a matter of whether he can really let his hands go early enough to get in the fight.

Thats what i am honestly going off of, if he can catch slick ass mayweather, he can sure enough catch manny, and catch him good

The only way I see Manny getting credit in winning this fight is if he knocks Shane out in the first 4 rounds. Other than that, Manny is expected to win and Shane is expected to gas out in the later two-thirds of the fight.

Although I see Pacquiao as winning this by knock-out, I am not betting my house on it. In boxing as in any other sport anything can happen, I am not a big risk taker and I don't want to be left homeless. But I am willing to bet the dishwasher. At least my wife can always wash the dishes manually.

Haha i am def not making any bets either, id be dumb to, but i believe that mosely can hit, and hit hard, moor was an odd fight cuz he ran and it was just ugly and dull, granted he got caught with punches he shouldn't have, i still feel like he can take mannys shot, and give one back

Mosley can really hit, be it with the right hand or the left hook, and there are times that Pacquiao is just begging to be hit, chin up in the air. But timing him is tough.

And thats what i noticed, Manny is available and for atlas the first three rounds, it will be interesting, as manny like to "test" his guys, really a good excuse for getting hit that hard

Well the thing about those guys is, they really were not the same fighters, like it or not, ofcourse pacqiou is far from the only boxer to pick his fights wisely especially when moving up in weight (maywaether, Jones) but we can admit that he has made SOME safe picks, but when mosely is down, it doesn't necessarily mean he is out, he has had bad streaks and has always come back from em in an outstanding fashion, and i think the stars are aligned for him to be great once again, and go down as a "sugar" should, he has lost speed, reflexes, and stamina, but dammit the guy still hits incredibly hard for his weight and if he can catch money, he can catch manny, what it will do it remains to see, i can be terribly wrong, but i am just going with my gut and some hope here

I still don't get why you believe that Mosley is such a hellacious puncher, most of his KO's have been the result of an accumulation of punches, not a single shot. I mean yeah, he caught Mayweather with a decent shot, but I think Floyd was more surprised then hurt, by the end of the round he was in control and firing back.

The thing is, even if Mosley does catch Pacquiao with a big shot, he should be able to take it, he was hit with some big shots from Cotto and Margarito, and just kept on trucking. And Shane is not going to be able to stop Pacquiao with an accumulation of punches, because he's not that easy to hit, and Shane is going to be too busy trying to block the vast array of punches coming at his head.

just got done watching odlh vs ssm 1 on comcast ppv previews special. the commentators said jesse james leija and john john molina stated that delahoya hits harder than shane does, i do believe that oscar has more power than shane but the margarito destruction left an immortal imprint on us. we have to remember oscar destroyed mayorga faster when mayo was fresher, destroyed vargas when he was still far from being shot. that said as of now mosley is the biggest puncher at welter. and i do believe as stated he can stop pac with one shot, for pete's sake he is the larger man
