USADA are one such body. Independent simply means a body that has no alligence or connetction to any party envolved. Nevada state commision is independant from that point of view but doesn't take blood and is completely half arsed.
Floyd Mayweather and Shane Mosely have undergone and passed an independent olympic style test. You are now enlightened.
what this has to do with my previous post is beyond me. It also doesn't change the FACT that manny still has done nothing to clear his name.

Floyd and Shane had their last blood test taken 18 days before their fight. Manny had agreed to Mayweather's terms in the second negotiation which is up until 14 days before the fight. Would this drug test have been good enough for you?
Like what marbleheadmaui wrote, "Manny's name is unsullied in the first place".
There was no stipulation to 18 days before. Random means just that, it could be 1 day before it could be 20 days before. Neither shane or floyd knew the last test would be 18 days out.
what you have just written has NO baring what so ever on the question mark over manny's head.
Manny tried to stipulate no testing 14 days prior. Sorry son, that's not how it works and that is the behaviour of someone with something to hide. Random means random full stop.
Manny's name has been soiled. He has been accused. If there is no question mark over his head then why do these threads keep popping up and why is it still talked about in the press?
He's been given ample oppotunity to clear his name and never taken it.
The arguement starts and finnishes with Manny Pacquiao was offered a test and refused and then came up with rediculous excuses and even stipulations.

LOL, one's name is sullied by a mere accusation now? Really? When did that start as a standard for a public figure?
I accuse Joe Biden of being a space alien! He must run to a lab I designate and take tests I designate, and he must do so when I say, or he will be labelled a space alien!
If he doesn't want to be labelled a space alien he must stop acting like one!

Thats a very very pathetic argument. And like manny you have avoided the question. If his name isn't sullied, why does all this stuff keep coming up on forums and the news media? I have no doubt it will go on if he retires without taking any tests.
Am I the only one that has accused manny? Nope, alot of people have. I didn't think he was a cheat until he started doing everything he could to avoid a test.
If a murderer doesn't turn up for trial he's automatically innocent right?
This is a multi million dollar sport where lives are on the line and legacys are made. It is the duty of the athlete to ensure his or her legitimacy.
No matter what anyone says, the arguement still starts and ends at the same place. Manny has been offered a test on numerous occasions and has done everything he can to avoid it.
It doesn't matter how many fanboy excuses you throw at it, that is where the arguement starts and ends. You can't change that bulletproof fact so don't bother trying.

LOL, you're standard for being sullied is blogs and the media? Bwahahahahaha
By that silly standard aliens built the pyramids and Obama is ineligable to be Prez!
I have EXACTLY as much evidence Joe Biden is a space alien as you have Manny is using steroids. NONE!
You are trying to impose a new rule on ONE GUY! It is outrageous. An athlete has a duty to OBEY THE RULES AS THEY STAND. That's it. Manny has done so. Manny has taken every test required by the sport and passed each one. Same as every other fighter. THAT is the beginning and end of the argument.
Everyhting else is hogwash.

Shane had admitted to using drugs. So why didn't Floyd insist that he has a drug test up until the day of the fight. If 18 days before the fight is good enough for Floyd, then 14 days is even better. But that 14 days cut-off isn't even the issue in the second negotiation, Floyd just decided to go on vacation.
What question mark?what you have just written has NO baring what so ever on the question mark over manny's head.
You question Manny's stipulation and yet you don't question Floyd acting as the boxing commissioner and trying to impose his own rules.Manny tried to stipulate no testing 14 days prior. Sorry son, that's not how it works and that is the behaviour of someone with something to hide. Random means random full stop.
Just because someone is accused, it doesn't mean that their name get soiled. We all get accussed of something all the time. This thread is not even about Manny, it's about Floyd's demand with regards to the drug test. If this issue is still brought up in the press, it's not about Manny's allege refusal because he had addressed that in the second negotiation. Not unless you have access to those RECENT press that says otherwise, maybe you would care enough to share it with us.Manny's name has been soiled. He has been accused. If there is no question mark over his head then why do these threads keep popping up and why is it still talked about in the press?
You are talking about what transpired in the first negotiation. There had been a second negotiation already which also failed. The arguement starts and finnishes with Manny Pacquiao was offered a test and refused and then came up with rediculous excuses and even stipulations.
If Floyd doesn't want to be labeled a chicken then he needs to stop acting like one.If he doesn't want to be labled a sterois cheat then he needs to stop acting like one.

You phone up the police now and report your next door neighbour for a crime of your choice. I guarentee the police will be round their to do some questioning at some point.
Get the whole street to report it and I'm fairly sure the police will be round even quicker.
If your neighbour is innocent he won't have any problem with questioning/clearing his name.
If he skips town however.... well by the reasoning of all on here he must be innocent.
It's not the accusations/internet gossip etc... it's the fact that he refused to go into a fight where olympic style random blood testing would be used into the build up.

You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about!
No agency has the ability to conduct the tests. They all use the same labs. The only thing not independent is the administration of the testing.
The only test, Olympic Style Testing utilizes during competition which is typically (99 time out of 100) is immediately following an event and the samples are typically urine. The random testing that OST uses is during non-competition times. Pacquiao has taken the tests a number of times, including a blood test immediately before his fight with Morales.
You add no light to the subject, only darkness.
If someone repeats a lie enough times, you might be stupid enough to believe it.
Who was that track star who accused others of steroid use and demanded that they be tested numerous times, and then people started saying he was one of the biggest users of steroids around. I don't know if anything was proven, but sometimes people blame others for strategy purposes then it ricochet's right back toward's them. If one cheater is getting away with it , then probably 25% or more in the sport are getting away with it. It's not just one person doing it. Look at all the other sports. Olympics as an example. We find out now that most of the olympic athletes, throughout the last 5 or so decades, took some form or another of illegal drugs. It wasn't just one athlete.
