Default PBF guranteed 50 million to face PACMAN

Floyd Mayweather Demands $100 million for Pacquiao Fight | BoxingInsider.com

Now if he's all about money, then the fight should happen drug tests or not. I wonder if its about the zeros on the check or the one in the "L" column. It's the highest guaranteed purse in the history of the sport.

Believe me bro, Mayweather will not fight Pac no matter how much is given to him.

It's clear from the beginning that he's afraid of a smaller Pac taking away his zero. Mayweather has claimed before that he is better than Robinson so he won't take the risk of being exposed by a smaller man.

Pac's skill is underrated but those who have watched how he has developed into what he is now they will agree with me that he has the best chance of knocking Mayweather out if the latter engages him into an all out fight.

If Mayweather runs around Pac and put on his defense, he will look like a combination of Shane and Clottey.

And that my friend is the reason why Mayweather will not fight Pac no matter what the people say.

I don't think the primary reason that Floyd is avoiding Manny is because he is afraid to lose his undefeated record. He is probably more horrified to be dominated just like what Manny did to his last 7 opponents.

If Manny wins by a close, competitive decision, Team Mayweather will just come up with several excuses and a rematch would create the opportunity for more money. If Manny dominates Floyd, then it would give the impression that he was exposed and gives credibility to the criticisms with regards to the quality of the opponents that he had been with prior to that fight. This will also destroy his career and probably smear his legacy.

In a Pacquiao-Mayweather fight, I don't see Floyd dominating Manny. He is more likely to win a close unanimous or split decision. If a knockdown or knock-out is going to happen in this fight, we know where it will be coming from.

That 0 on Floyds record is worth a lot of money, outside the ring.

Its clear that PBF is worried about getting in the ring with Pac weather he doubts himself against Pac with or without PEDs.

Pac is a huge treat to Floyd and it doesn't matter if you believe Pac is on Peds or not.

If Pac is on PEDs then Floyd is terrified that Pac is on PEDs and worried he would get smash.

If Pac is not on PEDs then Floyd is still terrified because Pac impress him so much that Floyd believes he is unnatural.

No matter which way you look at it, Floyd knows Pac is a huge treat to that 0.

I think the fight will eventually happen, especially with that amount of money.

The sooner Floyd goes broke the sooner this fight will happen.

I think as of right now Floyd thinks he is financially ok but when he goes down hill he will have to take this fight.

Yes and once the court cases are finished and the lawyers and tax man come for their bills he will be in the ring as fast as he can.

Mayweather is a great fighter. But I do believe he thinks that if he fought PAC it's a fight that he could very well lose. It's got to be hard pyscologically for floyd seeing fighters he has struggled with in hatton and oscar, PAC has just walked right through them. There is no question in my mind that floyd is a little scared of manny and no one can tell me different. It's plain to see in my opinion.

I don't for one second believe Mayweather is actually scared of Pacquiao. I do believe Mayweather knows that Pacquiao will be his toughest test and there is a chance he could lose, therefore he's waiting for the right time to take the fight. He's carefully built his image around being an undefeated fighter, his marketability would be shot if he lost, especially if it were convincing.

So he's waiting to see enough from Pacquiao to convince him he can win. Sugar Ray Leonard did it with Marvin Hagler. He waited for Hagler's desire to box began to wane and he'd showed signs of slipping before taking the fight. It didn't matter to Leonard that he hadn't been active. He just wanted signs that Hagler was slipping. When he saw what he needed to see, he took the fight. But I think if Mayweather fights on, this fight will happen. Money talks after all.

I also don't believe the talk of him demanding $100 million for the fight. I've seen him talk about it since those claims were made and he's always said the only thing stopping this fight from happening is the drug testing issues. If he wanted a guaranteed $100 million then I'm sure he'd have mentioned not being happy with his potential cut. I think this $100 million talk came about because of the mooted 3 fight promotional deal between Mayweather and Don King that would have seen Mayweather get $100 million, which came up sometime last year. I think that got blown out of proportion and went from "Don King wants to sign Mayweather to a 3 fight, $100 million deal" to "Mayweather wants $100 million to fight Pacquiao!"

I just can't get excited about the prospect of this fight any more tbh. Don't get me wrong, I'd get excited if they signed, but I'm just bored of hearing the same old talk and arguments about drug testing, the constant need of people to try and denigrate each fighter through baseless accusations of drug use, or trashing each fighter's records. Until it's signed I'll be pretty blase about it.

I'd rather focus on guys who want to fight. That's why I'm glad Pacquiao has remained active against mostly good opposition of late. There's plenty of intriguing fights without this one, it just sucks that the biggest fight that can be made doesn't look like happening any time soon.

do you guys really believe that a guy that has been on top of the sport for so long is scared of another fighter? don't buy the hype, neither one of these guys is scared loosing, if they were the type to lack the confidence to win, they wouldn't get to where they are, now floyd did say the only way he fights ANYone is the they take the test, so that remains to be seen

It is "Fear" which keeps him from getting into the ring with Pacquiao, he just doesn't fear Pacquiao. Otherwise we whould have already put up the first installment.

the risks of fighting pac is huge. pbf losing to pac means so much more compared to pac losing to pbf.

When the fight does happen, both guys will be slightly passed their prime. Really is a shame that this fight didn't happen a year or 18 months ago.

While Pacman beats up on old men, (Mosley) and over rated plaster casters (Margarito) we should be awaiting fight number 2 between Floyd and Pacman! As it happens we are no nearer having a first fight yet. If Pacman is on something then surely the World Anti Doping Agency would have a say? Am i missing something here? Nothing seems to happen after every Pacquaio fight so what is the beef?
