Wouldn't mind waiting a few years for the rematch. Would be good to let them both improve a little before they fight again.

I'm sure that all De Gales insults (and his use of the elbow and shoulder) went against him on the judges scorecards. Was a close fight that I had De Gale nicking but am absolutely made up for George!!

I agree that the rematch will be better, and bigger, two years down the line.

James DeGale is thoroughly unlikeable though, and could be the next Audrey Harrison (I don't mean he's got no heart) and may become unmarketable. Whilst people might pay to see him beaten that would only work if he's perceived as being unbeatable.

Frank Warren is making a fool of himself, too, claiming a robbery in one of the tightest fights in recent memory. Classless all 'round in that camp.

I scored the fight 7-5 to DeGale but pleased he didn't get the decision. Proper cheered when his name was read out as really thought they decision was going to go to DeGale.

I wouldn't give DeGale another shot. Like Groves says, how many times does he have to beat him? Even if he has to relinquish the title, fuck it, do it. Bigger fish to fry than DeGale.

I would let Degale stew on his lose for awhile if i was Groves.Maybe rematch late next year.

Warren didnt look happy when he was giving the interview, bad night for him, with 1 of his star fighters losing and Frankie Gavin stinking the place out.

The more I'm thinking about it the more I'm enjoying that Groves beat Degale...but on a more serious note, should I remove the questionmark next to 11 on my sig? It's not the best way to become a world champion, but give Cleverly a couple of wins against legitimate opponents, and he'll certainly deserve it.

like most on here i originally thought de gale had done enough to nick it but was pleasently surprised when groves name was read out and gave a very loud drunken cheer in doing so

seeing that idiot de gale jump up when lennon announced "and still undefeated" was priceless. How thick does one have to be to not realise his opponent also had yet to taste defeat

groves should go on to bigger and better things now and make de gale look very silly in the process. That 0 is going to play a big part in concern of the US tv networks eventually
    one dangerous horrible bloke
