That's shocking to see. Mosley really had better hang them up, when you are wanting out of your biggest fight you probably don't have the desire anymore. The body is faded and he doesn't even want in. Retire Mosley, there is nothing else to prove.

had it been me, i woulda got ko'ed and went out swinging with everything, and i would have got credit, respect, and kept my honor.

instead, the guy i respected so much years ago totally screwed us out of a good fight, and let me down for the last time.

I hope that was his last fight, i would hate to see Mosley getting beaten up by some guy not worthy to hold his robe. That's it Shane Mosley, you are 40 this year. Hang em' up!

That is really sad to see, Naazim probably should have stopped it. Amazing to see a guy who was once an absolute machine turned into this.

I guess I'm the only one who sees this different. Shane may have said he wanted to quit. But the fact is he didn't Quit. He could have at any time by simply telling the ref. What he said isn't important. What he did was.

thats sad, mosley cant help it though. He was out matched in every single way. If im put in there with a beast like pac and getting dominated like ive never been before (including being knocked down for the first time in yrs) im definitely going to have negative thoughts. Does anyone know what round this is?

Tough situation that night for Shane. Either people boo him all night, or rip people off by quitting.

If you listen to the video he says "I cant move" because of the blisters on his feet from wearing the new ring boots that is why he wanted to quit. Imagine how hard it would be to fight Pacquiao being 100% fit let alone having to do it with blisters on your feet.

I was gutted with Shanes performance but after seeing that I cut him a bit of slack. Most people have never been in the ring and do not know what it is like to fight, I had to fight 2 people at once for 3 rounds as part of my kickboxing Black belt exam on a wooden floor with blisters on both my feet and it was one of the hardest things ive ever had to do it was so painfull. I couldnt even walk afterwards and driving home after was a nightmare.

Apparently he had a torn ACL going into camp, and developed a huge blister on the opposite foot witch popped during the fight.

The footage is from a fight camp episode set to air on June 4th.. Some interesting things may come up, during that, I guess.

If Mosley had an injury that was hindering him then he shouldn't have fought. Money talks I guess, but it serves him right. Obviously it wasn't Pac that was making him want to stop it was the blister and leg trouble, but still I don't know why you would have blisters on your feet prior to a fight or be training injured. It's not fair on himself or the fans who might have put money on him.

Blisters, leg problems, the real problem is Shane just doesn't have it anymore, and isn't able to compete at the elite level. Take the money and run Shane, you had a HOF career.

Agreed, his previous two fights told the story really. He should never have been given the fight with Manny. Good for the fighters financially, but another 6 months in which the so called best fighter in the world went without a real challenge.

    Thats true

#1FightFan, when you have won multiple world titles and fought some of the best of your time and it's coming to the end of your career and you step in against P4P the best boxer on the planet at close to 40 years old......I'm sure you would do exactly as you say.

Any ordinary fighter can not do that to Mosley even at his age. He was against one of the best fighters of all time( and could probably become the GOAT).

Pacquaio is simply faster than anyone he had fought.
