Marvin was no technical slouch but if he stayed true to himself then inevitably Marvins chin would had to of been tested by Roy like it'd never been tested before. I'm not sayin Roy would win but I'm saying Marvin would have to speculate to accumilate and he might of ended up eating more than he could swallow.

Having said that, I'm only speaking about the front end. Marv was a rock and may have just opted to blast right throug Roy untill the job was done!

Just to be clear, I wasn't saying in my previous post that he couldn't beat him, I just personally feel he wouldn't. I know he only had one hand blah blah etc etc, but he never even seemed to hurt Hopkins when they first fought. Hopkins has a hell of a chin but it's not a Marvin Hagler chin that took straight bombs off Hearns, Mugabi & Roldan like they were nothing. Roy made the MW limit very few times & there's a possibility that he may not have been as strong there as he was at 168 & 175.

He didn't push himself when he was at the peak of his physical abilities. he regrets it so much he keeps fighting on trying to prove himself after it is too late. That, and money issues are eating at him.

He really shouldn't get a license to fight anymore. He very well could be permanently and immediately damaged in the ring. I don't want to see that because I don't wish it upon anyone. Moreover, if it occurs, it will be a major story in the sports world. Former big name fighter that people know, was just put into a coma in a fight (or worse).
