Johnson's post fight interview said it all really, he didn't even challenge the judges and admitted where he thought it might have got away. If he isn't complaining then nobody else should be, he knows he was outhustled by the younger guy. Johnson is a very solid pro, but just too old. The Green fight was a bit of smoke and mirrors as Green was never very good to begin with. Johnson's last fights at LHW told the story and this fight just reinforced it. It's a good time for Johnson to retire. A fair last stand.

Johnson is finally showing his age a bit at 42 years of age. He just barely lost tonight, if not fought to a draw against a younger man with not even half as many fights.
