HE should stick to domestic level because Maidana would ruin him.
HE should stick to domestic level because Maidana would ruin him.
Not really.
Told Amir Khan he had a glass chin.
Told David Haye to stop ducking Wladimir and get in the ring with him (pre fight announcement).
Told Carl Froch that Arthur Abraham was going to destroy him. Carl Froch accused me of being his "secret lover" then blocked me.
Paul McCloskey...meh. I think my views on him are pretty clear.
Floyd, I have no idea. I think he blocks anyone who mentions him and Pac in the same sentence as I sure as shit have never criticized him on there as I'm a fan.
Now march on over there with another account and apologize for what you've done.
To say mc closkey didnt do enough against Khan is bull. Mc closkey made him miss alot made him look average and everybody knows khan was tireing when mcloskey hadnt even broke a sweat.. Mc Closkey would have knocked him out between 8-10 round. Deserves a chance against maidana.
Not sure i agree Mccloskey would have ko'd him as you say but i definitely agree He made Khan look average and every time Mccloskey swung his wild shots by Khans chin there was definitely the chance of an upset. I was so annoyed and frustrated when it was stopped. They should have been allowed ime to work on that cut then given the next round to see if they had got it under control if blood was still pissing everywhere fair dos stop the fight.
Nice one for Mccloskey to get Maidana if it does actually happen and while he does have a chance i think both being wild with their shots may make it entertaining for a little while but maidana will be a little too good for him.
I am surprised by how "average" people view Maidana. He works correctly for a guy whose strength lies on getting inside and doing damage. He jabs very well from the outside, but he is no combination puncher from a range.
I think his style is a lot like Jake Lamotta's with the exception of Jake having a marginally better job than Maidana. I think Maidana crawls his way back to the top of the rankings by the end of this year if he can land 2 fights. Khan will lose the rematch. I really feel that had Maidana known all he had to do was put Khan on the ropes earlier it would have been stopped.
"Floyd needs to inject Xylocaine into his balls to gain the courage to fight Pacquiao."
- and I quote from some random guy on the internet
I doubt Mccloskey would have beat khan but there was always that feeling it was possible (for me anyway). Khan was looking a bit frustrated and was blowing a bit, the injustice for me was the stoppage was bullshit. Bad cut yeah but it was a world title fight!
