There are differences between spoken and written English, but there is a big difference between someone who is well spoken and someone who hasn't even mastered basic grammatical functions appropriately. I simply pointed this out. Haye stumbles around quite a lot, but of course he is a bit richer than me, so I should let it pass.

Wealth is totally besides the point and using uneducated lyricists to further your claim is silly. Instead you should be saying that this kind of language would never pass in the media or in a self respecting classroom. Haye couldn't find the correct words, why are you people so defensive about this? Standards are falling if you excuse these kinds of things. Would you seriously not correct one of your students if they made repeated language mistakes and didn't even realise they were doing it?

All I have done is point out something from a video that has been posted. Language is the first thing I ever think about whenever I hear anybody speak.
