I was wondering that myself with Booth and his strategy to win. I think Haye will box and stay a safe distance like he did with Valuev and Audley. Then come in short burst of attacking punches inside and then out again hoping to connect Wlad off guard and finish him if he sees an opening. He will try and negate Wlad's jab, which is a Booth tactic.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Well Eddie Chambers tried to body slam Wlad early in their fight....I think that might be part of the strategy of the WBA title holder just to try and psychologically shake Wlad. I also don't think its out of the question that we may see a few rabbit punches thrown by the WBA title holder.
If he sits outside trying to negate the jab he's going to get flattened because Wlad doesn't just jab he hooks off the jab....you've got to be more wary of that powerful hook than the jab.
David throws quite a lot of rabbit punches. Wlad had issues with Peter throwing rabbit punches in their first fight so I imagine Wlad's chosen ref will be quick (and just) to penalise David for it.

Original & Best: The Sugar Man
Haye can try and box, go for the KO, or get tricky, but it's not going to make any difference, Manny Steward is going to have Wlad ready for any of the bullshit Haye tries. I don't think this fight goes more then 8 rounds, Wlad is going to make a statement and knock this clown into next week.
Haye can't stay on the outside: Wlad has a tremedous range and a lethal jab. That worked with the Giant and Fraudley because they are as slow as a drifting iceberg and not too sound technically. Not Wlad.
What I think is that Booth will try to get Haye to step inside, burst up in head/body combos and then step out, wait for Wlad to come toward him and while he does so, stepping in (while Wlad is on movement it should give him a tiny window where he won't perfectly be on balance to land good power shots or good jabs) doing the same and out till a good punch lands and brings the Ukrenian giant's down.
At least, that's what I could see as a potentially good tactics in the circumstances. I don't think Haye has a chance in hell though. Ok, perhaps a tiny one, it's the HWD after all.

That's the way it is, not the way it ends
I'm laughing cuz chambers shoulda stuck with the wrestling antics cuz his boxing did fuck all that night.
I agree with most of what you've said apart from the rabbit punches, which is rediculous seeing as wlad is so much taller. If wlad is going to bend over that far and try to suck hayes' dick he deserves to get rabbit punched.
He can't beat wlad from the outside. That's obvious. It's going to bein and out tactics. Haye is either going to have to be a mile away from wlad or sat on his chest. If he falls into medium range he'll get eaten.
anyone know if roach is still assisting with Haye?
They want your @$$ beat because upsets make news. News brings about excitement, excitement brings about ratings. The objective is to bring you up to the tower and tear your @$$ down. And if you don't believe that, you're crazy.
