I gotta admit I thought the Urango KO meant that Alexander had figured out how to committ to his punches and that was what we'd see from then on.

Long as he fights at home he could fight in the cruiserweight division and win.

Not sure what this does for him. We all know he doesn't beat Pac or Floyd. Although i can see both of them hyping the shit out of Alexander to set up a fight. He doesn't beat Ortiz or Berto, and i think Mike Jones probably beats him too. I just see him fighting some fringe guys, then trying to cash in on a Pac or Floyd fight. To me it seems he's running from the 140 lbers to try to get a money fight, because his time is up.

That seems like an awfully good analysis to me.

If Alexander is to prolong his career then he should move up. Making weight at 140lb will eat into his career if what was said is true. Best thing is start again at 147lb, he relies on skill so may be better at welterweight. The move up in weight has helped rejuvenate many fighters careers. He is young enough.
