    Greatest new ever!!!!
If they will implement new things into boxing to make fights more fair then how about implement a more rigid blood/urine/etc. tests like the random blood tests (olympic style)?

why not, but it should apply to EVERYBODY right?

It should be used in football.

Mo contentious decisions this time round. Replay would have been handy in the first couple of fights but not this time. Marquez is underestimating Pacs speed at 144 and over estimating his own. Reflexes slow with age and with the added weight I dont see how Marquez will be able to adjust this time round.

It will be interesting to see how he performs this weekend at that weight but because it isnt Pacquiao in the other corner it isnt going to test his reactions the same way they will be tested in November. No doubt he wants it and will show more determination than Shane did vs Manny but the deciding factor for me is speed. Pacs took his foot off the gas in recent fights but if Marquez presses and he promises to thne the shots will come flying and at 38 with added weight it wont be a happy ending for the Mexican.

Seems like JMM has less advantages for this fight compared to the fights they had before. I wish this fight was made right after the 2nd fight like Pac quickly requested vs Erik Morales the 2nd time they met.

Pac dont want to fight anybody who is at 100%, especially not Marquez who has already schooled him twice

I don't think there had been any objection from the Pac fans with regards to having a more rigid blood/urine test. Like what Pavlik said, it should apply to everyone and implemented by the commission. The sooner they have that done, the better for the sport.

It won't be controversial because Marquez is now way passed his best, whilst Pac is in the latter stages of his 'peak'. Marquez is a spent force at this point, and that, of course, is why Roach has made this fight now. It's sickening that when Pac wins this time round, the Pac-tards will be on here screaming, frothing at the mouth about how Manny Pac finally got justice after he was unfairly robbed of a win against Marquez during their first fight. At least Ortiz is an up-and-comer, with both power, youth and technical ability on his side, aside from the fact that, as far as I know, he'll be fighting at a comfortable weight. He will still be outclassed, but at least it is a fair fight, as much as any fight is fair. But this fight being made at 147? Might as well put chains around his ankles. Marquez vs Pac at 125/129 were good, competitive fights, but we saw what happened to Marquez when he weighed in at 146 against Mayweather, he doesn't carry the weight well, and he's closer to 40 than 30, having been in a lot of wars. This will not be competitive, and Roach knows it - it's the only reason this fight has been made. Absolutely pathetic. Roach/Pac are getting more and more annoying as time goes on. If you're just gonna pick fights you KNOW you'll win, why bother? Just go and play politician ffs.
