hahah - Talk about a long shot. What are you basing this on? Haye could not KO Valuev, took 9 rounds to KO Ruiz and 5 rounds to KO Barrett and Monte even managed to knock Haye on his ass for an unofficial KD. Haye also took 3 rounds to KO Harrison and Fraudley wasnt even punching back. Now you are saying Haye will KO a guy that hasnt even been remotely in trouble against ring top ten Heavyweights in his last 10 fights? Barrett, Valuev and Harrison combined dont have the power or skill of Wladimir.

I think Haye is going to run all day and either Wlad will get a late KO or will take a wide unanimous decision.
Haye sat down a few years ago and watched what Sanders did and thought " Phhhhh! I could do that!" the problem is, not only is Sanders bigger than Haye, he is a southpaw and has quick long arms and big power. Haye is quick but basic and doesnt have the same natural resiliance and strength that Sanders does. Ok Sanders chin wasnt the greatest at heavy but he took a shed load from Vitali without going down and Haye didnt have the best cruiser chin in Britain let alone the world, now hes fighting the biggest puncher at heavy in the world. The realisation is creeping all over him and I thi k Wlad has intimidated him with that cold clam stare at the weigh in. So much so that Booth is having to join in with the embarrasing childish bullshit to get under Stewards skin as well as Klitschkos.

Mike Tyson reckons Wladimir should have Haye out of there in 2 rounds.

I'm not a huge of Wlad or Haye TBH, HW is not my thing, but I actually think Haye is going to KO Wlad, so I've voted for Haye KO. The speed and movement will be the difference, and there will be a definite difference in speed IMO, and this will affect Wlads confidence in opening up. I've watched alot of Hayes fights and i think he can be a different beast altogether at HW, carrying the most important tool with him from Cruiser, his speed. I also think has has gained power moving to HW. If i'm wrong, shit, won't be the first time, just my two pence worth in there. All I really wanna see is an exciting heavyweight fight, as it'll probably be the first one since I've been interested in boxing in the last 8 years or so.

There's a little reason inside me why I would love Haye to win, and thats to see what Lyle's first post reads after the fight. Ha.....

I voted Wlad KO, but........ geeeeez, I just want it to be a GOOD fight. After seemingly YEARS of waiting, this is one of the two fights the public has been waiting for for a long time. The other, of course, is the Pac-PBF soap opera. Haye has talked the talk. Now I just hope he can walk the walk. I'm not that partial to either. I just want it to be a good fight. I'm worried that after all the incessant posturing and hype, some "Murphy's Law-esque" event will come up and bite the fight in the ass. Fight ends 'cause of a foul..... someone twists his ankle and the fight is over....... an accidental headbutt ends the proceedings....... you name it. The ring collapses and the fighters are injured....... whatever. I want a GOOD fight, damn it. I want both Wlad and Haye to rise to the occasion, and make the fight worth the damn wait.

Oh wait..... how could I forget another and a very likely scenario? Geeeeeeez..... I hope it's not another Wlad-Sultan borefest, with Haye avoiding Wlad's power shots and Wlad pawing like an idiot the whole fight. That would be the biggest bummer of all.

That being said, and if they come to fight, I don't think Haye will be able to avoid Wlad's bombs throughout the whole fight, and will eventually get caught.

I'm sure plenty of posters are waiting for me to be humbled again. I'm not worried yet, I'm sure I'll get anxious once the fight starts.

Haha, I just hope it isn't one big snoozefest, which is highly possible.

True an exciting heavyweight title fight would go a long way in bringing boxing back to the limelight.

Very true. Boxing was buzzing around the excitement of a potential Pac vs PBF fight not so long ago but it really has falling back again. There was alot of excitement in London around the DeGale vs Groves fight but it was not world class boxing as it should (and used) to be.

Over the 10 days I've suddenly found myself really getting behind Haye. We were all in the gym talking to his brother after my last training session before leaving for the US & I now just desperately want him to win. The Lyle factor also plays into it, but less than it did.

Still, as much as I want Haye to win & I do think he has a shot because I think he has got in Wlad's head a little bit, I think Wlad is a pretty special fighter & will prove just too big & too good for Crank. Wlad is an astonishing athlete & has become a fantastically disciplined boxer & while Haye is imo a more gifted athlete, he hasn't got the same discipline to his boxing, even if he is the tougher fucker.

I was actually surprised how many mentions this was getting in the states, considering that it features a Brit no one has ever heard of & a 'Russian' who no one can tell apart from his brother. I really think that if there were ever two fighters worthy of a 24/7, it's these guys.

Haye by 3 round KO. Speed and power are too much for Wlad. Who doesn't seem to love boxing anymore.

However i have to base my pick, on the fact that Haye hasnt fought any HW punchers , and as i said i think he has a chance early , but I am going with my head and picking Wlad.

    Wlad ko 2.

I dont think it will be a classic fight but its got me feeling the buzz of excitment that few fights do.
Haye hasn't fought anyone will the skills, power or the HW championship experience of Wlad Klitschko. Although it would be great for boxing in the UK, and make Brit fans happy, realistically Haye has little chance of winning this fight.
    Wlad by 6th round TKO.

That's a very real possibility, or another Wlad vs Eddie Chambers type snoozer without the KO at the end. I don't however believe that Haye's defensive skills or chin are as good as Chambers'.

Gotta hand it to Haye, tho. I mean... if weren't for his running at the mouth, how many of us would be anxiously awaiting this fight? The man deserves a whole lot of credit for building the anticipation for this fight. Like I posted earlier though... I just hope it's a good fight and lives up to the hype.

Wlad has shown he's not above taking the safe route to the "W" (see: Sultan fight). So a lot depends on Haye. Will he press the action? Will he be content to take safe pot shots from the outside, and hope for a lucky shot? I'm looking to Haye to back up his bravado and make a fight out of it...... win or lose.

Much is being made of Haye's "explosiveness" and power, but if Haye actually starts trading with Wlad, i'd agree with Tyson, it's gonna be a short night.
