No rematch with Wlad, but perhaps Haye can bullshit his way into a fight with Vitali, Hint: Just use the broken toe excuse, David.

I think Wlad will fight Arreola soon and Vitali will fight Haye.

Arreola will tell everyone that he's taking training seriously now and is in much better shape, and Haye will say he's a totally different fighter with a healthy toe.

For the most part Arreola has been training better and staying active.

If Haye does fight again I'm sure it'll be in about a year after he does his usual TV tour. I can't wait for Bunce to buy Haye's alibi.

There's no real grounds for a rematch. Haye was thoroughly outclassed, so I can't see too many people buying into an immediate rematch. How would they promote it? He won 2 rounds if that, and the toe excuse isn't really washing with anyone. I don't think anyone would be sucked into believing it would play out any differently.

If he wants to fight on beyond this October retirement date, then he needs to knock off a few contenders and work his way into contention. I think there's some interesting fights for Haye at HW aside from the brothers. Whether he sticks around long enough to take on any of them remains to be seen.

I wouldn't mind seeing Haye against a few top contenders as well.
(admit it would have been a good idea before as well)
But realistically in a rematch with Wladimir?
Wlad generally tends to perform even better in rematches, so I doubt that would go well for Haye.

Right, at this point, I'm not even sure Haye can hang with, Povetkin, Arreola, Dimitrenko, Helenius, or Chisora, he needs to defeat some of these pugs, and work his way into contention. Enough of Haye getting title fights with his mouth, work for it like everyone else has to.

Chances are, Haye isn't going to going to hit the "comeback" circuit, and fight other contenders, he's too much of a fucking premadonna for that. He might however be able to sell what's left of his gullible fanboy base on a fight with Vitali, I sure hope so.

I honestly think Haye would have had a better chance trying to out box Vitali. The evasiveness he presented Wlad with was decent, and Wlad is the sharper boxer of the brothers.

i agree with that. I always thought the last mobile vitali would be easier for haye to hit. Vitali also holds his gloves lower.

The only reason I can see for a rematch is that Wlad looked genuinely angry with himself because he didn't knock Haye out. That and a payday might be motivation enough. I'll not be watching it though. If Haye fights him 10 times he still loses.

The biggest problem Haye had with Wlad was reaching him to hit him. Vitali is even bigger than Wlad, and more accurate with his punches, it would be a fucking massacre, Vitali would finish the job his brother started, and the "HAREmaker" would barely land a glove on him.
