The punches that knocked lewis down twice in his career would have knocked out any heavyweight at the time. Lewis was and is one of the greatest heavyweights of all time..and avenged all his losses..

No chance would he stand a chance. Vitali would clearly want to be first in line and he would beat down on a middle aged Lewis.
He COULD have a successful one-fight comeback.
Guess against who.
Then... he could retire again.

Yup, all the clowns that say other HWs would've stood up from that Rahman punch are having a laugh
Also... getting caught by 2 very good shots in career as long has Lewis's at Heavyweight is no disgrace. He was never in a fight where he was outboxed or beaten down (say like Frazier against Foreman for example) Being schooled or bullied for 12 rounds would've been far more damaging to his legacy imo. This is heavyweight boxing. If you get hit flush by shots like that you are going down.

I dont think Lewis had a bad chin at all really. But at 45, never fast of foot and last fight a give and take war with Vitali its the last thing you want to point to as being in top form.
He should stay retired and maintain self respect and pride he's always shown. And don't EVER let himself be put out front and left standing there pointlessly to promote a hype job like Haye again.
Lennox was great fighter, but he's older, slower, and he's happily retired. Its sad he didn't the credit he deserved as he was fighting. He really proved his mettle vs Vitali in the last big time heavyweight fight that lived up to the hype (Brewster vs Liakhovich is still a classic war though).
Something that puzzles me is who would train him?
Lewis isn't stupid enough to try and stage a comeback at his age. That's the bottom line.
He got out at exactly the right time and he knows it.

Many here said about 5 or 6 years ago that if Tyson could get into shape and be 50 percent of what he once was he would be champ again. We saw how that turned out. I don't think Lennox wants to make a comeback and that's enough to say no to the threads title question.

oh I get it ADAMGB. So the alltime great Hasim Rahman and Oliver McCallhave some kind of DY-NO-MIIIIITE!!!!! in their punches that floored Lummox for a 10 count, cold-cocked, out of this world KTFO, yet Smokin Joe, Big George, Earnie the Acorn just couldnt manage to land such hard shots against Ali, Holmes, etc... and thats why Frazier and Ali and Holmes and Lyle etc could keep getting up.
BUT OH, ALI WOULDNT HAVE GOTTEN UP, NOR HOLMES, NOR FRAZIER, HAD THAT ALLTIME GREAT PUNCHER OLIVER OR HASIM LANDED THOSE SHOTS.

They would have been hurt by them... that's for sure. Maybe not knocked out cold... but you're talking about guys who's chins are ranked as the best of all time.
Jesus Christ, you're just banging on about the same things I addressed in my first post. Troll much?
Again, just because I am saying that he didn't have a glass jaw... it doesn't mean that I am saying that Lewis' chin was ever in the same realm as Ali's or Foreman's (who incidentally was dropped by Ali... a relatively light puncher... but as I KEEP SAYING - this is heavyweight boxing and under the right circumstances anybody can be dropped).
Lewis' jaw wasn't glass... it wasn't in the same realm as Ali's either... it was decent.
Why am I having to repeat the same points over and over to you? Is the concept of a middle ground existing between 'glass jawed' and 'granite chin' really such a complicated concept for you to understand?
If you can count to 3 you ought to understand what a 'middle' is?

Lennox has been retired for almost 10 years. I wouldn't pick him against anyone in the top 15, let alone either of the Klitschkos.
