I disagree, he was coming forwards and using his key weapon. Is it his fault that nobody has a way to get around that and loses all the courage to engage? The man pressed the action and it really does take two to tango. I don't blame Wlad at all for what happened. His opponent refused to even try and throw punches why take crazy risks when you are already the general? Wlad does get of scot free for me. He did nothing wrong, he fought an honest fair fight. Not even any clinching which I have attacked in the past. It was Haye who fought a shocker.

Fair enough, Miles. It's my frustration as a fan that NOT A DAMN SOUL has ever tested Wlad's skill and resolve.

I think he fought more aggressively then I've seen in awhile. Shocked the shit out of me. I was convinced in the first few rounds he was going to get clocked and shook badly, looked very open to me, no punching nor jab etc. He was sending a message, almost daring Haye.

It's a virtual cert that we get "boring Wlad" threads after his fights.

Remember he promised to "punish" Haye for 12 rounds before KOing him. What did we get? Same old Wlad...

Haye has got him off the hook this time.

You're being a bit hard on Wlad.

He is what he is and he doesn't pretend to be anything other than a methodical boxer who uses his very limted skills to the best of his ability. He does what he has to to get the job done. No more no less.

Haye, on the other hand, slated both Klits for being dull and defensive, hailed himself the saviour of heavyweight boxing, behaved like a total dickhead in the build up with all his talk and stunts and showed no class whatsoever. His delaying the fight by some 10 minutes also pissed people off no end.

And then when the bell rang, what did he do? Absolutely fuck all is what. He ran like a pussy and stunk the place out and then followed his pathetic display in the ring with some crap excuse about a broken toe.

Whatever anyone thinks of Wlad, he's a nice guy, pays his opponents some respect and is generally a good ambassador for the sport. He's not exciting, but we haven't really had a genuinely exciting heavyweight since Tyson.

He may have pressed the action, but I guess Haye was just too eslusive for him huh?

And I do recall that his opponent through some punches too. Wlad recalls it as well Miles.
