At lease De Gale is moving forward. Groves seems to be idle and hanging around Haye. Groves needs to get in the gym and start fighting again. De Gale has connections, Groves needs to start using his.

Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
To be fair, it's only been 6 weeks since a demanding fight (for him) in which he got a pretty bad cut from a clash of heads. One of his mates from Dale Youth told me he wants Magee next, but I doubt they put him in there just yet. That would be a tough ask & Booth's mysterious game plans have now been exposed as throwing fuck all punches & trying to pot-shot your way to victory.
On DeGale, I think this shows some bottle. It would be easy to have taken an easy mark on the undercard of one of Warren's shows to work his way back in, but this fella didn't look bad when he beat down Asikainen, so I see this as a definite challenge. The guy's not world-class, but he's most certainly a step-up from Smith.
I'm starting to become a little anti-Warren because it only seems to be their fighters who actually get the big shots, even when they're coming off defeats.
DeGale isn't a bum, but he shouldn't be coming off a defeat for a smaller title to fight for a more prestigious one. BS.
Free market success story right here. DeGale will fail his way to an actual title.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
