Guns serve one main purpose for me, protection for me and my family. I keep guns in my house, and I have a permit to carry a handgun which stays in my 2 vehicles. So far i've never had to use a gun to protect myself or my family, but I still like the sense of security I get, knowing that if some shit ever does come my way, i've at least got a fighting chance.

P.S. It's worth mentioning, that i'd only use a gun for any reason, unless it was my last resort, remember if you splatter an intruder's brains and blood all over the inside of your house, you'll have to clean it up afterwards, as well as repairing the shotgun blasts that hit your walls.

You should still condemn the actions of this lady, she is showing in a very public completely irresponsible way, this is precisely the type of messing around that causes accidents. She pointed a laser site on a loaded gun at another human being that was of no threat to her.

So you have an irresponsible gun owner. Hey it happens. Just like you have irresponsible drivers. That happens also. So what's my point? You have idiots in every segment of society.

Its really a bit of unspoken message some elected officials would want to send to a pokey abrasive news reporter. Really, dumb chick needs to get a grip. This has little to do with gun owner rights and more to do with grandstanding by some fktard with a platform. It cheapens a real issue. So says the guy with a Mossberg by the door(s)

Why would any sane individual buy a gun without a safety and then carry it around IN THEIR FUCKING PURSE??!

I'm as pro 2nd as anyone out there but irresponsible gun owners really piss me off and just provide the opposition ammo.

So... ok, it is legal to buy more or less any kind of caliber you want and to carry it with you, I find it wacko but ok, fine. Is it legal though to carry a gun in a public meeting and to remove totally the security from it? Beside the 2nd that allows you to own weapons, is there no very strict laws about the state of the weapon itself (i.e how it is secure for instance) and very strict punishment system if you point it with a full load on other's face?

Irresponsible gun owners are a big problem really, I know people (in their late 30s, early 40s) that bump fired all their ammo in a parking zone near our lakes while getting absolutely wasted. This makes me very angry personally.

Most gun owners I know are responsible and have them for home protection, hunting or competitive shooting.

Oh, I do condemn people like that, tell you what killer, I bet we've got more crazy SOBs like that here in Texas then you do Arizona.
If I didn't need guns for protection, I would even own any.
