    Default Williams makes $1.5 million

According to Fatboy Dan, Williams pocketed $1.5 million for his performance Saturday, compared to the $135,000 chump change Lara received. Not bad for a pug who got crushed in a fight with Martinez, prior to the fight with Lara. Somebody up there likes P-willie.

Good on williams, can't hate the guy for the bad decision Saturday, and usually do resent other fighters but williams is so hard to resent. Dude always came to fight no matter what and doesn't know the term retreat. He's far from perfect but his heart can't ever be questioned he deserves the mil plus he probably won't get many more. Lara is young and just on the rise and hopefully this "loss" will lead to him getting a bigger money fight.

HBO loves Rue Paul....well his name and marketability at least. He was the name here, brought in for huge crossroads match. Hindsights 20-20. Lara was pitching FNF cards and getting questionable draws with Carlos Molina (who was belting Cintron around earlier) last fight out afterall so Williams who had walked world class was to be the payed man that night.

Crap. It just occurred to me, We're going to see Molina vs Lara 2 aren't we Put nothing past the Networks

Certainly no kid but plenty time to make some money, and like I said hopefully that performance will get him a decent payday for his next outing. However I'm not sure lara is all that, pwill just made him look great by refusing to keep his right up...then again pwill looked like he was two weightclasses above lara

We might see Cintron vs Williams 2 on the same card to build up a Williams vs Lara 2.

It's called HBO continually kissing Al Haymon's and his fighters ass.
