    Khan is a southpaw? Great start to the article. It takes all of 10 seconds to check stuff like that. Amazing.

    Pacquiao was just raw speed and a left hand at 24. Albeit a deadly left hand. I think it's fair to say Khan looks better now, however, he is very unlikely to reach Manny's level (No chance. Unless they surgically implant some iron into his jaw).

    Ahead?

    How do we categorize it?

    I agree with Marble that Khan looks better in terms of fundamentals and technique's as shown by the two.

    BUT I think i would rather rank them on w/c would likely win against a certain fighter pound for pound.

    Will Pacquiao had the better chance of winning againts In Jin Chi in 2004 compared to Khan winning againts Maybe Brandon Rios?

    Pac's accomplishment at 24

    1. Lineal Flyweight
    2. Lineal Featherweight
    3. Title at 122 claimed againts Ledwabba who is regarded as the best 122

    Thats an interesting point actually, Pac at 24 and Khan at now
    How would rate the following:

    Power = ?
    Speed = ?
    Ring Genralship = ?
    Chin = ?
    Stamina = ?
    Heart = ?
    Skills = ?

    I would rate Khan higher on the following, Speed + Skills, carnt say I have much memory of Pac back then, but would rate him higher on the other facets due to current form. Pac always had that power, ring smarts would be a toss up actually, heart, well Khan showed plenty against Maidana, and also showed his chin has improved a hell of alot ! Stamina has got to go with Pac imo.

    If I'm reading Freddie correctly he is using the word "boxer" not as overall fighter but as a measure of a particular skill set. If I'm right it is clearly Kahn isn't it?

    No question.

    Roach probably said that to boost Amir's confidence. Amir's 'chances' against his competition is lesser than those of Pacquiao's when he was 24

    I agree, but at least for me that's hindsight. I fully expected Ledwaba to beat his ass
