Its not supposed to be a fair well fight. The article says its supposed to set up a fight with an undefeated prospect.
Then he is heading for a defeat.

A brutal one too. I seen Olivera fight. And it's not that he's that good that's the problem for Frietas. It's that he's a fucking middleweight. Frietas was at his best at 130. And never fought above 135. Even at a catch weight it's got mistake written all over it for Frietas

I know this is old news, but the recent satisfaction of Maidana vs. Broner brought this fight to mind.

Justice is very rarely served in boxing.

But, this is another case where a punk got what he deserved.

He lost again to Norberto Gonzalez looking at his latest fight.

This is why none of us makes a living predicting fights.

But beyond that..... this was my favorite sentence from the article:

"Add in the fact that Oliveira, nicknamed "The Brazilian Rocky," is a lot closer to John Duddy on a bad night than a legitimate star, and you have a recipe for a fighter I just cannot like as a boxing fan. He was pure hype in a way that Canelo Alvarez or Julio Cesar Chavez Jr would find obnoxious. There was nothing to him."

    Priceless!!
