LOL. That's not really a wide range of options. Have you tried things you didn't like as a kid? I hated mushrooms as a kid and love them now. I don't really consider potatoes as a vegetable in the same sense that asparagus, squash, etc., are but whatever. A salad of lettuce, bell pepper, onion and dressing is an option.

Asparagus. Roasted with a little olive oil, salt and pepper. Try it. You could even grate some parmesan on it to make it more palatable. Its solid. Or boil it, and then saute it in a little butter.
Things I hated as a kid and still hate: Squash, zucchini, brussel sprouts. Maybe hate is too strong a word but they're just meh. Bland. You can season them but they're still meh.

I will give the asparagus a go, not really into cheese though so a little salt and pepper will have to suffice. Lettuce and asparagus, if it goes well then I have almost doubled my vegetable range.
Who the fuck isn't into cheese? There may be people who are more into cheese, but I've literally never met someone who didn't like some form of cheese. You're a weird human, even when you're not "bordering on self-parody."

No, I can't disagree with your basic conclusion, though I prefer the term unique over weird. In many ways I really am quite different to most human beings. Physically, psychologically, life choices and yes even in terms of just being able to eat a basic meal. It's not easy being me.
