Mike Tyson VS Jose Ribalta
Foreman V Frazier 1 (This was the impossible happening right before my eyes)
Leonard V Duran ( This was a momentous occaision in boxing, Duran at his best taking on Sugar Ray Leonard)
Tyson V Spinks (The demolition was emphatic and brutal)
Curry V Mc Callum ( I remember leaping out of the chair in shock when he KO'd Curry)
Tszyu V Judah ( super right hand and Judah was on dancing with the stars)
Jones Jr V Tarver ( nobody saw that coming, not even Roy!)
Pacman V Hatton ( the Fatman was demolished)
Nice find, i'll say this for Ribalta, he showed some major cojones taking Tyson's punches for 10 rounds, and he protested when the ref stopped the fight!
A lot of boxing fans only caught the last part of Tyson's career, but I can remember when Tyson was a fucking juggernaut, during his prime he was one of the best HW's ever.

Jones Jr. - Tarver I, was great, but I enjoyed Jones Jr. getting knocked unconscious by Glen Johnson even more, but then i've always despised RJJ.![]()
Leonard vs. Duran was a really special fight, one of those "fights of the century" type fights. At the time I was a big fan of Duran, so I was glad he won, but I was also glad Ray came back the second fight, "no mas", in New Orleans. I never thought I'd see Duran quit, but he sure as hell did.

most recently donaire vs montiel for me.
There was also Mike Weaver vs. John Tate. Weaver got beat up and lost every round and ripped through the overconfident champ the last few seconds of a fight that spelled mismatch. Holmes vs. Cooney! Duran vs. Buchanan, Duran vs.Dejesus. Everyone forgot Foreman Frazier two! Arturo Gatti Ward trilogy. Gatti-Rodriguez and all that blood. Wilfredo Gomez and Carlos Zarate. Ray Robinson and the raging bull. Rocky Graziano and Tony Zale, the trilogy. Alexis Arguello handed future champion Boom Boom Mancini a KO lesson he never forgot, don't blink. Of course Julian Jackson had unbelievable KO's and of course there were many more.
I didnt expect hatton to get blown away so quick!!!!
Corrles v castillo (how did they keep going?) benn v mcleran (epic but tradgic x)
All edwin valaros 27 fights 100% ko ratio (how did he keep knocking everyone out?!)
Hatton v mauser (hatton badly cut over both eyes and still finding a brutal punch to score the ko!!)

Have seen many an amazing fight after the event when I knew the result so they don't quite have the same impact - this applies to ones like Hagler v Hearns when I was too young (what must that have been like to be watching live !!) and Tyson v Douglas when Sky first came on scene and no one had a dish.
Anyway ones that spring to mind that I was watching live are....
Kid Akeem v Robert Quiroga
Gatti v Ruelas (might have been Rodriguez, I forget which one I watched live on tv)
Benn v Mcclellan (I thought benn was finished in 30 seconds)
Kennedy Mckinney v Junior Jones
Naz v Kelley (am I right in thinking was same bill as above ??)
Carl Thompson v Ezra Sellars
Don't bully fat kids - they've got enough on their plate
The fights with Vazquez and Marquez were truly jaw dropping. Same with Castillo and Corrales, I mean it's an awesome thing when fighter's styles mesh together so perfectly that it makes such genius fights. Some fights are great even if they have kind of an ugly clash of styles. With those fights in particular though, I mean the drama from the first round on was just spectacular. It was consistent for 10 rounds in the Castillo Corrales fight, it was consistent for 3 whole fights in Vazquez and Marquez. That's awesome to see and truly jaw dropping. Round 10 in Castillo Corrales is as jaw dropping as anything I've ever seen in any sporting event I've ever watched. A truly special moment, I will NEVER forget for the rest of my life.
