Bantamweight tourney final - Agbeko vs. Mares fight thread

Well, I just saw this fight thanks to a recording and I am also looking at it again on Showtime replay and I have to say that this is disgusting. I have nothing against Mares but something was shady about this fight and I think the commentators may have forshadowed something when in the intros they kept referring to Mares as a potential huge star. I admit that Mares did great body work but when you are given a free pass to go low that makes it alot easier. I mean for goodness sake Mares punched Ageko in the butt cheek in the 9th rd!!!!!! I honestly have a newfound respect for Agbeko and his lack of acting and the fact that he did not try to sell the low blows says alot about him. And for the people who say that Mares won the fight regardless I say GTFOH! Punches to the nuts change fights...point blank! When Agbeko rocked him in the 4th(I think) what did Mares do.......you guessed it he threw a low blow. You know I'm tired of typing and I am honestly just disgusted with this ref.

I also like how Mares had the audacity to say that Agbeko was pulling his head on the 2nd knockdown. What a little turd! I hate to say it because I know it is not fair but I almost dont like the little turd now. And this sorry excuse of a human being that was the referee. I dont care if Mares had clearly won every round without the lowblows helping this was a damn disgrace. I also had a friend who I got to look at boxing for the first time in a while with me and this crap happens.

I think Agbeko failed in doing something about the low blows. He really needed to do SOMETHING instead of leaving his fate in the referees hands.
