at this time to jump to conclusions. The guys reputation is at stake and for the years of battles he has given the fans we owe him more than that

A couple of people think he did something illegal

Thats hilarious. How about the Commission, a doctor, and the opposing trainer? Do they mean anything? What Margarito did is being belittle!
Has anyone making comments for Margarito ever boxed? This is the worst crime you can commit in boxing!!! Margarito was one hand away from getting away with this. One hand was already approved and Nazeem came in during the second hand being wrapped and noticed it was too bulky and then notice it was hard as a rock. Thats when they noticed the approved hand had the plaster in it also. That one hadn't hardened just yet that is how he got away with that hand. Had he timed the second plaster as to it still being soft then he would have gotten away cleanly. You have such a high rate of ruining someone's career and even health in this way. People do die from boxing, why the hell should aiding the chances, illegally, be taken lightly in any kind of way?
For those who haven't boxed and are trying to defend Margarito why don't you spar an experienced fighter with plaster in their wraps. Thought so. Now imagine doing this in a fight and the gloves are even smaller. It would be brutal. All the opponent would have to do is land punches and they would be more damaging than your flush shots. Margarito and his camp need fined and suspended!!! But I am sure he will only get a slap on the wrist because Mosley didn't get to lose his health because the wraps were caught before. Thats like slapping someone on the wrist if he only put a hit out someone and the plan was foiled only minutes before it was carried out. I used to be a big Margarito fan but as a boxer of 17 years, this makes me sick to my stomach.
IF he really did it, then yes he should be under fire for it. The commision has not made a statement as to their findings yet.. and I am a professional boxer so yes, I completely understand the risks, its a disgrace for any fighter to cheat. If any intentional wrongdoing is proven and he actually did put plaster in his wraps then he should be criminally charged and banned from boxing. Your misunderstanding me. Im defending his right to a fair investigation. As for now, its nothing more than accusations. They could prove to be true, they could prove to be false, lets wait and see before passing judgement.
