This was an awesome fight, but Brewster was really disappointing. There were points throughout the fight, where if Brewster would have pressed the fight, he might have KOed Lya. But what's stopped me from being a Brewster fan, was the fact that he didn't press the fight in the 11th and 12th when he needed it. Lya fought a hell of a match though.

WHo here thought the REF was biased as hell and tried to help Punky Brewster, Punky almost had a TKO at one point but the ref stopped the round even tho there was a good 6 seconds left. WTF was that BS? DON KINGS doing

later in the fight he yelled at sergei's corner for not being out of the ring at the whistle, and immediatley after he looked past brewsters corner being in the ring until the bell

Dont you just love it when someone is so biased with their favorite fighter that they can no see anything but that fighter beating anything and everything put in front of them. I mean come on, Rahman has his limitation just like all of the other fighters out there. He is far from a perfect fighter, the heavies out there are not great, and he is not the best out of the lot. Plain and simple. I am not trying to bash Rahman but you gotta be objective.

You can laugh if you want, but he already beat Wlad and Wlad already beat Byrd.

I've always acknowledged his shortcomings, I've said before that he's not much of a boxer, I said earlier in this thread that I was nervous about this one, that Lamon doesn't always show up, that Buddy McGirt is probably overrated, but Brew still has power and a chin and that's usually enough to beat this soft crop of Heavies.

The truth is there really is no champ, Wlad's gonna beat Byrd again and might clean up the other belts, but mark my words he will stay away from Lamon because it's a bad matchup for him and his chin.
