I VOTED COTTO I THINK IF COTTO CAN GET PAST THE EARLY ROUNDS THAN ITS GONNA BE ALL COTTO AND THAT DEVISTATING LEFT HOOK IS GONNA DO SOME SERIOUS DAMAGE IN THE LATER ROUNDS.

I actually am going with Judah on this one. This fight will be his last Hurrah if he loses. I think that we will see a hungry focused Judah, the same one that beat Mickey Ward.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

I agree. Someone should do one of those threads like we've done in the past where everyone's name and prediction get posted at the top of the thread. I'd do it myself, but I really don't have time to constantly update as would need to be done. I think this is a real tough one to predict though, people (typically those picking cotto) seem to have strong views, and i really don't see this one making it to the cards, whichever way it goes.Originally Posted by killersheep

I just watched the Judah-Galvan fight.
How many people did Judah bring into the ring with himLMAO.
I think there were more people in Judah's entourage than there were in the stands.

He fought in what appeared to be a School Gym. LMAO!!!Originally Posted by SweetPea
Seems that the biggest thing here is that people think Judah will do good early, and then fade late allowing Cotto to catch up to him.
Suppose Judah really works on his conditioning and paces himself early and is still strong in the late rounds.
But it seems that everyone feels like Cotto's power will bail him out sooner or later and are counting on a mental breakdown of Zab. And no one is saying that Cotto is going to beat Zab without Zab not having some sort of mental breakdown or tire.
Would I be correct in that assesment?
Way off with me personally. I feel Zab will give Cotto some issues with his speed but Super could not take Floyd's bodyshots,Cotto hits to body much harder. Cotto will break him down with bodyshots, and surprise him by going upstairs when least expected. Miguel has shown heart beating Torres so even if the going gets tough,I feel Cotto has what it takes to win. I don't see Judah knocking Cotto out or stopping him.Originally Posted by Majesty

Just picked up my tix to Cotto-Judah.
Lightened the wallet significantly, but it's worth it for championship boxing at Madison Square Garden.
i agree actually. i think the general opinion is proabably a cotto win but i think zab could surprise a few peopleOriginally Posted by killersheep

You the man!
I was trying to see if I could make it outhere but unfortunately I couldn't as I have to work that weekend.
But you'll be there and ANY time a Saddo fella is at a event WE are all there with him. If you can take a camera and snap some pictures I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE IT. Hope you enjoy the fights and the night as a good boxing night IMO is by far the BEST experience in sports one could have.
Whats the last card/fight you wen't to? (if you don't mind me asking)

This is my FIRST EVER boxing card. Can you believe that?Originally Posted by CutMeMicK
Big PPV fight at Madison Square Garden... not a bad way to start I guess. There will be plenty of cold beverages being consumed for sure.
(By the way, I originally planned on getting tix to Gatti-Ward I, but my college graduation was the next morning, so I decided not to get tix. BIG mistake.)

Haha ouch on the Gatti - Ward. But cool stuff, I imagine with the Puerto Rican parade the next day, and Zab's popularity in BK that it should be quite a crowd.
On the subject of live fights, Mick you still goin to Guzman - Katsidis? Tickets ringside for $100My friends are talkin about going to disneyland (gay) sometime in that timeframe, but I'm thinking of making the So Cal trip somehow just to get at that one.
