Why didn't Pacquiao do this earlier ? he seemed to have too much respect for Mosley, i like to see sportsmanship but there's too much touching gloves, just get on with the fight.

Sorry Daxx...he needs to take his head and hoist it up. Elite....p4p....multi million dollar gate and Mayweather twitering his ass off. You can make a statement and batter Shane or just draw back & live to fight another day, that is not the Manny we have come to love. Maybe we're spoiled I dunno
Maybe we are? I mean shit when was the last time Manny has not been exciting? Hell when was the last time he looked "Just good"?.....I did notice they were awful friendly during this fight....Maybe Manny just can not bring himself to batter Shane...Mosley is a hard guy to dislike ha ha...I have no answer...No matter what it is a dominate performance for certain....If all we can complain about is the fact he did not knockout an ATG who has never even come close to being stopped what does that say about fans?

I just think he is going in more rounded and not just doing the regular non stop punching we are used to seeing...I really think he is giving Mosley too much respect at this point....Manny fights Freddie tells him how and Manny carries it out like General in Battle
it's the whirlwind approach that got him where he is and what dropped ssm - he's not a cute boxer.

he is upping the pace in bursts now if he maintained it he would have got him out.
Yeah you can see his output picking up for sure!!!

You don't think though over the last few bouts Manny is becoming more complete as a fighter? He uses more angles, paces himself more, better defense etc...He knows that he is aging and can't keep the super speed mode forever especially if he keeps fighting bigger men
you tell me - start of rd 11

I'm convinced Floyd beats Manny. No question in my mind. Not that I questioned it ever. Can't wait to hear Bob and Pac's excuses and blame on Shane. I thought Shane was prime? LOL

Mosley was in survival mode from round 4 on, lame with the overkill on the sportsmanship. I can respect Mosley as a nice guy, but he made no effort to win that fight.

I don't think it's that Daxx. Whenever Pac upped the pace Shane struggled, if he maintained that pace earlier and for a couple of rounds rather than 1 round and then off or for bursts in a few of the rounds he would have stopped him.

That looked more like a sparring match than a title fight. I like sportsmanship just fine, but come on! Throw a punch like you mean it!

What I enjoy most about big fights like these is the attention from Mainstream media (ESPN and other news organizations) and people actually asking be about the fight. Feels like it is a sport that is still prominent.

What we need more of is for one of these truly big fights to be epic Vasquez/Marquez to get the non-fan public really hooked.

Mosley was on the backfoot constantly against Pacquiao, not taking any risks. It's hard to look good against a good veteran fighter, who's just looking to survive.

It was the same in the rematch with MAB, it's hard too look good against a fighter who's not willing to commit.

And in all honesty Shane Mosley was lucky to win 1 round.

Horrible performance by Shane, I hate to say it, but he couldnt pull the trigger just like everyone had been saying about him. Was in survival mode, the only thing he could land was touching Mannys glove after a headbutt. Boring fight. Pac seemed like he could have done more as well.

That was a horrible fight and told us nothing and yes I will be critical. I was supporting Mosley, but criticised this fight time and time again and it has only confirmed to all of us why there was no need for this fight to be signed in the first place.

Mosley used the Barrera 2 model and threw about 7 right hands all night. He circled effectively, but showed that he cannot throw more than a 2 punch combo without running in and holding. Manny Pac merely did what he had to do, he showed us nothing new.

What this has also showed is that Manny Pac is nothing more than an opportunist when it comes to matchmaking. A cheater followed by a former great who hasn't won in a number of years.

I am sure I am not alone in feeling this way. Few of us believed that this fight should have been made and the boos in the crowd confirmed why.

It was a very poor fight.
