You don't have to like him or think he will beat Cotto to admit he has extremely quick hands

    It depends at what...

Roy Jones had the fastest combination and one punch speed overall I've seen
Floyd Mayweather Jr. has the fastest one punch speed I've seen (at 130)
Mosley or Meldrick had the best combination punching.

saw paul a couple of nights ago, he was just throwing the 1,2,3 combination...not really impressed.
We'll see how far his handspeed will take him when he steps up against Cotto

I would disagree, it was Taylor's blistering handspeed, that bedazzled opposition the quality of James McGirt and for a while, Julio Cesar Chavez. RJJ was a more rounded fighter, and used other tools in his excellent arsenal.

For Paulie it's all hand speed and mouth speed, I don't think he is all that talented, but he is very fast.
I say Cotto TKO round 10

I still say that ROy JOnes Jr. is p4p alot faster... RJJ did have more in his arsenal, but he also had faster hands... Nobody can compete with him in that area in total hand speed... I never thought Meldrick Taylor's individual punches where that quick... he reminds me of Mosley.

I agree, I am in more of awe of fighters having incredible handspeed at higher weight and the speed that roy has never been duplicated by any fighter in past or present. He carried his speed to all the weight classes he moved up to and even has it for a guy in his late thirties. Shane's speed has diminished considerably over the years and as he moved up.

Roy Jones P4P had the fastest hands.
"Very few people really understand what it means to be a fighter. I hate it when I hear someone say, 'That fighter doesn't have guts. I hate that, I don't care if you're a world champion six times over or a four-round fighter, to step inside that ring, you have to have guts" Oscar De La Hoya
