To me Brewster and Maskaev are pretty close to the same thing. They are both sluggers. Oleg has a little more boxer in him but in the end they both came straight forward and try to slug it out. So its a question of punching power and chin. I'd give the chin to Oleg, but power to Lamon. I'd take Lamon inside of 4 rounds but after that I'd give the fight to Oleg.

Brewster would KO him IMO, Maskaev's slicker but not that slick and Brewster's better chin would pull him through. Maskaev would have to try and box and move a bit and try to hurt Brewster and take him out, which would be tougher to do versus Brewster than Rahman cause Lamon's chin is better than Rock's, cause I don't see Maskaev's chin holding up for 12 rounds against Brewster's pressure.

I don't think Oleg would take the pressure Brewster gives. Rahman gives pressure but he's inconsistant with it, Lamon only fights one way and I think he would catch Oleg and knock him out within 8 rounds

I think Maskaev is the Carlos Baldomir of the division, slow, no skill but keeps on coming.

A decent heavyweight with skills will box rings around him, but he definitely could grind down some of the top fighters whose stamina may be an issue.

To say that Baldomir has no skill is just wrong...

Maskaev has all the skill to be in the division, he has proved himself to this point....If he decides to take a fight with Lamon Brewster, that is absolutely his choice atm....

Honestly, Brewster doesnt have a chance, Maskaev will be holding this title for a little longer than Rahman did...

I think Maskaev will do the right thing and hold out for the right money fight....If he loses, he still gets paid...
