Default Lamon Brewster VS. Oleg Maskaev

Could Oleg last in a bout with one of the hardest hitters in the heavyweight division?

I actually think Lamon would take this one.

I think Brewster definately has a big enough punch to trouble Maskaev but he doesn't throw anything. I wouldn't really care to see this fight. I much rather see Wlad Vs Oleg or Wlad Vs Toney.

Lamon would knock him out. Watch the Kirk Johnson fight. And Oleg doesn't go to the body enough to beat Brewster

Probably, seen it. But like I said the dudes got power but he's gotta use it. No use having power if you don't throw anything!

Rahman hits hard as a bull....

Just ask Lennox Lewis, Terrence Lewis, Rob Calloway and even Oleg Maskaev himself....he was hurt in both the fights against Rahman...

To not call him a hard puncher is the wrong thing to say.....He is not as disciplined as he needs to be.....

The thing I see with Maskaev is discipline...He stays with the plan, no matter what...

Most of the time when you see fighters that cant get a guy out, they get frantic and trying to play catch up or get the Knock-out....The thing they forget to do is stay disciplined and stick to a strict gameplan...Maskaev does that and thats why he has the Belt right now...He stayed determined and focused and earned himself a championship title....I think the guy has proved himself at this point...

As for Brewster beating Maskaev, I dont think so, I think Brewster will go into the fight over confident(Like Rahman did) and get his clock rung(Like Rahman did).

The thing that scares most of the boxing world is that they see these big Russians comming in and taking over a division that the Boxing community thought would be dominated by American or Euro fighters....

Its the nightmare they all feared and what you see right now in the division is a bunch of well disciplined, untainted and hungry fighters wanting to get their recognition......And they are getting it...

American fighters need to pull their heads out of their asses and start thinking about whats more important in the sport....All the riches and bitches or the flat out recognition of being a champion.....

Congrats to the Russian fighters for coming in and doing what they needed to do to become a dominate force to be dealt with....

    Good luck,

    Coach

I doubt Brewster would do that after seeing what happened to Rahman. I dont think two fighters in a row would come in overconfident when one got stopped

Lamon Brewster is no different than anyone else from what I have seen of him....

He will go into that ring and think he is going to knock Maskaev out.....Then all hell breaks loose and then he is lying on the floor next to the time keeper wondering what the hell just happened....

    HAHAHAHA!!

    Good luck,

    Coach

but does Brewster have the legs to go 12 with Oleg if that was the case. I don't think Brewster is conditioned enough just like I knew Rahman wasn't. So i think Oleg has as good a shot as Brewster in this one.

for the sake of arguement. Brewster might have learned a thing or 2 from the Liakovich fight. Like not fighting Russian fighters because he is not disciplined enough!!!! this fight might only happen the same way this Rahman fight finally happend 7 years after the fact. and that is if Brewster thinks Oleg is on his last legs and now has nothing left in the TANK. and that would be his mistake like it was Rahman's.
It feels good to be back home.
