JCC had 0 amateur fights...and yet he still was good enough to beat the Mayweathers, Taylor, Camacho and so on. And when he was past it he fought Tszyu and De la Hoya...he also fought Pernell Whittaker (I believe he lost but he fought the guy)

PBF has stepped up vs Corrales, Gatti, Judah etc but he's got a ways to go to be on JCC's level

Duran and Sanchez would have given PBF some trouble too not to mention Leonard and Hearns

    ODH
    Mosley
    M. Taylor
    Pryor
    Basillio
    Robinson
    Whittaker
    Trinidad
    Wright

Would give him trouble too...so I agree that Floyd is one of the best boxers fighting today but All-Time Great? Not just yet
Chavez had over 100 fights and you can only name like 3 worthy guys ,. Face it, he had like 106 wins and over 100 of them worked part time as cadavers for medical students.

Yeah and Floyd won't fight half that many fights and he still won't have names like Whittaker, Taylor, The Mayweathers, and so on, on his record

...at least Chavez didn't duck Kostya Tszyu OR Oscar De la Hoya...can Floyd say that? And both those guys are OLD now, what's his excuse

Really? Wow. I could have sworn Oscar de la Hoya was a junior middleweight when Floyd was still fighting at lightweight. Yep. Prime duckage on Floyd's part

Nice Post.. In fact I think alot of those guys would be favored and probably beat Floyd. I cant see Duran catching up to Floyds speed, and I just feel like he's just better than Pryor and Taylor. How fights against Oscar and Shane go depend on which weight its at. The rest are winnable fights for Floyd but I'd have him the underdog..

Mayweather got a lil spanking by castillo I personally think he should have 1 loss. But hey i dont hate, chavez was given a couple fights too. but talking seriously with facts and all. I think mayweather would just be another in 100+ list of champions and bums like mr Imripped said on JCC record. I think the fight would be a lot like the tylor fights, medrik tylor was just as fast as PBF but he just couldnt damage JCC's chin and just couldnt keep up with JCC. But i defenetly would pay $49.99 to see a fight like that now those were PPV fights.

Then you obviously havent watched Mayweather fight and if your gonna make claims like "and I just feel like he's just better than Pryor and Taylor. How fights against Oscar and Shane go depend on which weight its at. The rest are winnable fights for Floyd but I'd have him the underdog.."

I feel like you should back your claims by telling us why would Floyd be an underdog What do those fighters have that he dosent?

Taylor was in no way shape or form smarter or as technically sound as Floyd, Let alone half the defensive wizadry.. Taylor was another tough Philedelphia fighter that relied more on his athleticism then technical skillz.. Believe me I was a Huge Taylor fan...You guys assume that Floyd would stand there and trade toe to toe with Chavez....Well for all you that havent watched Floyd fight and for those who forgot how he fights let me remind you....Floyd has as much ring smarts and awareness as anyone that ever has Boxed....Floyd fights Floyds fight...He NEVER loses composure and NEVER gets lured in fighting another fighters gameplan........thats why he is the best in the business right now, Cause he systematically breaks his opponents down and fights to his own pace

Taylor isin't even half the fighter that Floyd Mayweather jr is

I don't understand why you would mention 'The Mayweathers,' as if beating Floyd Sr. and Roger Mayweather is some major accomplishment. Then you go on to mention Whitaker, the man who absolutely schooled Chavez to death. I think the point trying to be made here is Chavez's record was padded, meaning his WINS were padded. What use is mentioning other fighters he fought who beat him? That only further validates the point that he was only successful against tomato cans.

OK OK but JCC was known for MAKING guys fight his way all of his fights he always started really slow giving away the first couple rounds and as the fight went on he got stronger and they ended it up fighting JCC's way, backing down and JCC all up in their face, he was exellent in cutting the ring. PBF is great at cutting the ring too and countering, but not enough power for JCC chin, so I think JCC would kick PBF's a$$.
but even if these two fighters were in the same time, they would never fight because PBF would think that JCC was too slow and not enough for him as he thinks of the rest of the fighters today.

O come on skyler stop hating on JCC how u gonna hate on him just because he liked to fight anybody that stepped up in the ring with him hey the man loved to box.
not like other boxers that fight maybe once a year, sh!t he didnt have any amature fights.
Not his fault, now other thing would be if avoided good fighters that wanted to fight him which he didnt and then claim to be the greatest of all time.

Still not buying it dude...Floyd is a very underrated Body puncher and mixes his punches very well, he is extremely accurate and will do enough to keep JCC off of him also Floyd has the ability to anticipate were punches are coming from ...

Say what you want JCC had a once in a life time stroke of luck against Meldrick Taylor sure he won but we all know he lost...Also got lucky again against Whitaker which Whitaker got screwed....The truth is JCC never HONESTLY did good with that type of fighter...Floyd wins!!!

You're missing the point here. No one's hating on Chavez. The fact is he had only a handful of quality wins in over 110 fights, literally, you could count on one hand his important wins and still have fingers left over. No one's saying he ducked anyone. The problem is he barely fought anyone either, and when he did, more times than not, he lost.
