pbf wouldnt be dumb enough to trade shots with jcc like taylor did, and pbf is a much better fighter than meldrick taylor ever was
Another very hard to call dream fight. I would edge towards Mayweather however, but i just do not know!
Meldrick fought like a man possessed that night,throwing,what,1,060 punches and had some of the fastest hands I have ever seen in my life! However,JCC,being the fricking machine that he is,just kept coming and coming and coming and Meldrick stood toe to toe for those last 3 rounds and you saw his face!
I'm not sure,PBF,boxing, may just outwit Chavez but I'd risk it and say Chavez catches him somwhere and damages him.I say Chavez, late tko OR,MayweatherWIDE UD!
If you are going by their true primes I say JCC...SOO tough and Floyd could not slow him down plus Chavez was a smart fighter....I go with Julio... to much in Floyds face...
Hidden Content IN CASE THEY ALL FORGOT WHAT REAL HEAVYWEIGHT POWER WAS!!!
JC CHAVEZ TKO....ask Roger and Floyd Sr. about how good Julio was
Floyd is 5x the fighter his uncle was and about 10x the fighter his father was not to mention much more gifted physically and athletically ....Floyd gets the desicion but is in the fight of his lifeOriginally Posted by Lyle
to fast, slick and elusive and an impregnable defense, pinpoint accuracy....
I find it hard to count Floyd as the underdog in almost every match. Logically, if we base things solely on stats and past fights, we can say Floyd would win. But Chavez was the type of fighter who could change things so drastically in a fight, he once made the sun orbit around earth. lol.
Julio Cesar Chavez doesnt wear a watch he decides what time it is!
Mayweather would destroy Mr. Padded Record.
padded recordwhy cause he fought anyone who stepped up, didnt pick his fights to guys he knew he could beat. not to mention he could beat just about anyone on his prime.
he wasnt like "oh no he is not in my class i'm too good to fight anybody, Im the greatest"
No. Chavez never picked his fights to guys he knew he could beatEvidence of this is backed up by him defending his superlightweight title with a record of 67-0 against a guy who was 0-0. No padding whatsoever

OK, the guy wanted a shot. u cant blame chavez for giving him the chance i think it was kind of him, plus remember that nobody wanted to box him at the time or am i wrong
if chavez was just looking out for his record he would never would been calling out the best out there at the time.
But then again he was'nt as great as mayweather! yea OK dude![]()
That's the pot calling the kettle black!Originally Posted by ImRipped
JCC had 0 amateur fights...and yet he still was good enough to beat the Mayweathers, Taylor, Camacho and so on. And when he was past it he fought Tszyu and De la Hoya...he also fought Pernell Whittaker (I believe he lost but he fought the guy)
PBF has stepped up vs Corrales, Gatti, Judah etc but he's got a ways to go to be on JCC's level
Duran and Sanchez would have given PBF some trouble too not to mention Leonard and Hearns
ODH
Mosley
M. Taylor
Pryor
Basillio
Robinson
Whittaker
Trinidad
Wright
Would give him trouble too...so I agree that Floyd is one of the best boxers fighting today but All-Time Great? Not just yet
