Evander's now one of those guys that makes me physically hurt every time I see him get hit.
Win or lose, I don't think I'd be able to watch this.

well yeah but he arguably lost his last fight against Oquendo.. Althogh I do agree that if he is remotely serious about becoming champ again he should be moving forward. Maddalone is so hittable it's not even funny. Holyfield could make a comeback in another 10 years and still probably beat the Maddalone of today.
Hold up, you think Fres Oquendo beat Holyfield? Are you a fight fan or a run away I hate taking punches fan?
I don't think it's that clear cut. Not denying that Oquendo was weary of getting hit by Holyfield, but he still landed a lot of jabs and counter shots while moving away.. I didn't say that he beat hol0y for sure, just it was definetly a very close fight and it was disputable.. Your the one who thinks Urango beat Ben rabah, so I could ask you are you a boxing fan, or a tough man competition fan? works both ways.
    Urango DID beat Ben Rabah!
This should be a good keep busy fight for Holyfield, yes its a step down in competition, but it'll be an entertaining fight. Remember Big George Foreman had a lot of fights like this on his comeback trail. However he also had one hell of a punch too, something Holyfield does not unfortuneately. But he's got enuff pop to KO Maddalone.
Sigh.... . I don't think this will be an entertaining fight. Maddalone has not only always been mediocre, he's coming off a brutal KO loss to Brian Minto( who ended the fight with literally about 10 left hooks in a row )... but he also just lost a TD to Julius Long. Maddalone is shit. Id pick Larry Holmes to beat him if he came out of retirement.
At least we've found some common ground cc i've enjoyed the debates.
Remember the good old days, we miss you Marco!
