Should be an exciting fight but I predict a knockout for Holyfield. Vinny just aint that good.

he he very nice, another corpse barely still twitching for Holyfield to struggle against. So sad.
Remember the good old days, we miss you Marco!
At least Vinny will come at him. Jeremy Bates was just scared of him.Originally Posted by yoitsdan

The key here is to say active while your waiting for a good opportunity. I like that Evander is staying busy ! working that shoulder in nicely, getting some feel for the boxing game after a long layoff very important for future success , not bad at all.. .Bates , Fres Oquendo, and now Maddalone. Evander will be ready when the right opportunity presents itself you can bank on that !![]()

I perdict Evander will knock Maddalone out inside 3 rounds ! should be entertaining match.![]()
isnt this guy rated lower than holyfields last opponent ?? personally i think this is step down holyfield needs to be fighting top 15 atleast if he wants to make serious comeback this wont prove anything and wont do much for holyfield either and im big holyfield fan
well yeah but he arguably lost his last fight against Oquendo.. Althogh I do agree that if he is remotely serious about becoming champ again he should be moving forward. Maddalone is so hittable it's not even funny. Holyfield could make a comeback in another 10 years and still probably beat the Maddalone of today.Originally Posted by ICE COLD BOXING
Hold up, you think Fres Oquendo beat Holyfield? Are you a fight fan or a run away I hate taking punches fan?Originally Posted by p4pking

I don't think it's that clear cut. Not denying that Oquendo was weary of getting hit by Holyfield, but he still landed a lot of jabs and counter shots while moving away.. I didn't say that he beat hol0y for sure, just it was definetly a very close fight and it was disputable.. Your the one who thinks Urango beat Ben rabah, so I could ask you are you a boxing fan, or a tough man competition fan? works both ways.Originally Posted by yoitsdan

This should be a good keep busy fight for Holyfield, yes its a step down in competition, but it'll be an entertaining fight. Remember Big George Foreman had a lot of fights like this on his comeback trail. However he also had one hell of a punch too, something Holyfield does not unfortuneately. But he's got enuff pop to KO Maddalone.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"

)... but he also just lost a TD to Julius Long. Maddalone is shit. Id pick Larry Holmes to beat him if he came out of retirement.
That Minto fight was exciting though. He also had a burner on FNF. Not that good...but he doesn't have much quit in him. It's not like we're going to see someone passively beaten. He'll go down swinging.
As much as i hate to say it, this could be an exciting fight. I gotta go with Holy by KO/TKO though. But at the same time Vinny is dangerous he just has little skill.
