Why don't Wlad & Peter once they dispatch of Brewster & Maskaev then fight each other that would be for the ring championship.

Then the Briggs/ Ibraginov winner fight Chagaev to see who next faces the winner of Wlad/ Peter.

cc what an idea, shame it cant be done, power promoters like don king, and frank warren are killing the sport, they should be told its a sport not politics! Thats true mate, glad nv, lost at weekend i dont know how a fighter of 7ft and 23 stone can lose to nebody! he looked dodgy against mcline until mcline picked up that knee injury. I think the trouble is that promoters dont want there prospects losing there unbeaten records so keep em ticking ova fighting bums, then when it comes to stepping up, you get a mismatch, because the unbeaten prospect thinks he is beta than he is with his padded record.

Come on mate, I was surprised that Lamon Brewster was getting the mandatory slot for Wladimir's belt, cause he is a spent force and personally, I'd drop him out of that eight, and replace him with Valuev, cause lets face it....fighting gorillas sell seats. And he'd make Klitschko feel like a short-arse.

It is a GREAT bracket... I agree totally... But I think what we're all wishing for is some new friggin blood in this division... How long can we watch the same retreads fight each other. Ruslan is a faily fresh face but for god sakes give me a Tyson, a Holyfield, even a boring Lewis would do... If I see John Ruiz in another title fight I'll slit my wrists.

Unification tournament would be great. Just like the 80's when King and Butch Lewis put it together. If we could get this to happen in more divisions I think this would really be a boost to the sport because we would know for sure that we would get great fights.

I know this sounds crazy, but I think Oleg Maskaev vs. Sam Peter will be an entertaining fight. Oleg has a lot more skill than he gets credit for.
