Aw, come on. I don't think it takes that much to be "ready" for PDL. He looked twice as sloppy as Battista in his last fight. He's got good pop, but otherwise he's not very good.

If I was a big fighter like Oscar or Floyd and I wanted to be remembered to the fans.. I would have the fight on a Saturday afternoon on ABC sports and see how big they get. All the guys in the 80s all fought on Network TV back then. Many of Hearns/Duran/Hagler/Leonard fights were shown on the networks in the 80s. At least one fight a year of each of them. . Not bad.
