good fight in my opinion
No. Waste of $ 55![]()

it was ok, but i always thought the challenger should be way more offensive not defensive like floyd was. and nope this wasn't good for boxing at all so much for all the talk aye.
The bautista medina fight was awesome though two virgins showing what a fight really look like. hehehe![]()
As a fan of the sport 1st more then anything YES, I really did enjoy the fight.![]()
A stinker
I enjoyed it.
I have seen worse.
I was rooting for the underdog so it made it exciting for me.
A rematch would be fine in my books.
It looks like we will get just that.
I say bring it on.
I don't remember ever seeing Floyd with a black eye.
Undercard sucked balls, watching it on .nsv was almost torture but PBF v ODLH was very good to watch, I still think Oscar won.
Remember the good old days, we miss you Marco!
it was a decent fight, not the best. I think the second fight will not be as good. Floyd will dominate more if they fight again. For 55 dollars I want Leonard Hearns, or Hearns Hagler or Ali Frazier. That is alot of $!!!
I enjoyed it, it was a good fight. Then again, I might feel differently if I had payed $55 for the fight instead of the $10 cover to watch it at a bar.
The Battista fight was great. The Rocky Juarez fight was horrible. I enjoyed the main event, and I still think Floyd won by 4-6 points.Originally Posted by yoitsdan
The Batista fight was boring imo. Knockdowns but it was a sloppy fight. Batista was SO open to hit and he was so predictable. He did this thing where he would come inside, throw a punch, take a short step back and then lunge WAY inside and that is why they clinched 7 or 8 times a round. That step back was throwing him off and he did not need it.
I expected big things from Batista and was sorely disappointed. People said he was ready for De Leon, that wide stance and those predictable movements are made to order for Ponce De Leon.
Anyways, I really enjoyed the fight. I loved every second of it.
i enjoyed it. it turned out to be alot better than i assumed it be. i thought it was gonna be a boring asss snoozefest. but with oscars flurries into the AIR and PBF's masterful defense and even at times trading and countering and even throwing a few combos together i must say i was rather impressed!

...now as for the price i thought it was a gyp how they jacked it up to 55 bucks just cuz this fight was all popular as hell....like when they jacked up the movie tickets cuz the new Star Wars prequels came out. like usual though i just invited as many friends over as possible (making sure to have a healthy balance of african and mexican americans for ethnic pride and some good shit talking), and had people either kick in $5 for the fight or bring some kind of food for a potluck. my sister made some bomb ass teriyaki chicken wings and drumsticks too so i might have been in great spirits even if this had been John Ruiz vs. Nicolai Valuev!
No in all seriousness, I thought it was a good fight and I really enjoyed watching it. I always like watching Floyd or Oscar fight.
It was a good fight, not a classic, but a fight that maintained my complete interest up until the final bell...
I really liked it... Techincally it was classic in terms of the skill level demonstrated by Mayweather primarily, but also props to Oscar for a tight defense, and pretty good combinations as well as determination. As for it being a fight where you were shitting yourself watching it, not so much.
