Plenty of potential threats at both 154 and 147. But no noe who would clearly have an edge on floyd.Originally Posted by Lyle

.....when Floyd loses it's going to be a shock to everyone IMO (like when RJJ lost)....no one's ever going to see it coming, especially Floyd, and it'll bring him down to earth, as far as skills go, he'll get gunshy and start having closer fights and he'll keep at it trying to recapture his glory but it'll never come back
(that's just what I think, to help me sleep at night)

Floyd would do good fighting anybody in any weight class only problem is, if its a weight above 140...i think i'll fall asleep before the fight is over....so i dont know if he would win
i think floyd style is capable on 160 specially against some really slower fighters it does not matter if they are really powerful; their punching power is a real threat but the thing is it's really really hard to hit floyd at full power because of his excellent defensive skill by using his exceptional reflex, speed stamina and ring intelligence.
yeah i swear PBF know what punch comming before it's thrown. if you watch his fights there are time when it seem like he thinking will you throw the left hook already.
he'd get more recognition fighting taylor but would make more money fighting tito lol.
i think it could be a bit dodgy fighting anyone at 160 though the power uppage from 147 must be quite a lot however to win a fight by ko you have to hit the guy and its quite hard to hit floyd with enough power to have a lasting effect.
does anyone reckon floyd would go in at around 150 on the fight night fighting against a 160 guy?
You should know by now, Floyd doesn't need to hurt to win a fight. He'll punch and run all night long.Originally Posted by eagle

Taylor is mediocre at best, he's like Zab Judah to the effect that he is a front runner but fades down the stretch, lets face it Hopkins was for the taken, even then B-Hop gave him fits and could have easily won one of those fights.... Taylor couldnt impose that Supermiddleweight frame on Winky Wright who is a natural Welterweight...
Taylor is a counterpunchers dream, since he wastes punches and has a real poor selection, expends to much energy in the process. Couple that with a leaky defense.... Having those wrinkles are alright if you are prospect, but not the Middleweight Champ of the world.. I maintain my pick that Spinks will upset Taylor by being slick and using his speed and experience... Its just a matter of time that Taylor gets exposed, he better Mature fast. Manny Steward dosent even seem to be a force in his corner, since he dosent follow instructions
Well i think I can agree with you on this one, Taylor is garbage......as of late.Originally Posted by JT Rock

And I actually think Taylor would be a juicy fight for Floyd.
I mean, six weight class WBC champ is unheard of! That's gotta sound lucrative to Floyd.
Coupled with the fact that Floyd could concievably beat him.
A large target who wastes punches who also fades down the stretch?? TaylorTailor-made for Floyd!
Juicy, juicy, prospective rewards for Floyd.
