I wouldn't call 225,000 buys awesome.

Considering the two fighters I would have expected at least double that.

Liddel vs Jackson 2 took over a 1,000,000 buys.

When you consider that this was one of the biggest fights of the year so far as well it's pretty poor imo.
Oscar Mayweather is the biggest fight, 1,400,000 buys.

Your loyalty is with UFC anyways... traitor
Actually the Oscar Mayweather fight was over 2,000,000 buys, 2.15 million to be exact.

A quote from this source http://www.multichannel.com/article/CA6441534.html

Boxing, mostly through HBO Sports, averaged around 425,000 buys in 2006. While fighters like former junior lightweight champion Erik Morales, former welterweight champion Shane Mosley and current division champion Miguel Cotto all have strong followings and have performed well on PPV, none of them have the crossover appeal to draw in the causal fans necessary to generate 1 million PPV buys.

I say again 225,000 ain't a big PPV
Traitor
lol I enjoy both sports
