My point is the ref was bad, I'm completly neutral and that's what I saw.

The thing that p***es me off is when people start saying Mayweather is the greatest of all time or even one of the greatest of all time, that's what I don't agree with.

Yes i rate him very highly he didn't have to beat Hatton to prove that I knew that anyway.

Let me give you my idea of ALL-TIME greats and then hopfully you can understand where I'm coming from.

Straight of the top of my head not in any order:

    Sugar Ray Robinson
    Roberto Duran
    Henry Armstrong
    Ali
    Joe Lious

I think Manny Pacqiauo hasn't done to bad and if he beats Marquez where does that put him?

I think FM would beat Duran and Armstrong because a great BOXER always beats a great SLUGGER.

Am i missing something here folks ?? because i didn't think Cortez's refereeing was bad at all.
Agreed, Hatton lost get over it. Another thing that pisses me off is this bullshit notion that 'Hatton would have gone the distance if Cortez wasn't such a bad ref'..How in the fuck do you work that one out?? People are making it sound like Cortez was beating the shit out of Hatton with Mayweather??
The match ended with Ricky Hatton coming in with the usual wide left hook to which Mayweather responded with a sweet check hook which spelt the end for Ricky. What role exactly did Cortez play in that? How would that K.O have been different if Cortez 'stopped splitting them up so quickly'? They weren't even on the inside when the match ended. Could have been any ref, the result won't have changed.

No way would Floyd beat Duran, unless your messin with me, I can't take you serious on that.

Duran was defensive genuis and a demon going forward, no matter how many times these fought the outcome would be the same.

Duran wins everytime, he may even stop Floyd like rounds 13 or 14 and if it's a 12 rounder, probably stop Floyd rounds 11 or 12.

I can't believe i've even responded to this.

What would be interesting is Julio Cesar Chavez v Floyd and Arguello v Floyd.

Why is it that hard to believe Mayweather would beat Duran ?? Duran struggled with fast fighters lets not forget Duran was out boxed by mediocre fighters like Kirkland Laing and Robbie Simms.

ya know I have to say it doesn't matter who was reffing the fight... floyd caught ricky with that left a few times in the fight by backing into the corner and then usin his speed to get out of the way and tag him the final time floyd just hit the button on an already weary hatton and that was it...not the refs fault hatton couldn't see floyd bait him to the corner
